I've almost completely given up on regular liquid vanilla, opting to use this powdered form instead. Especially good in homemade ice cream, this vanilla from Madagascar leaves the others in the dust.

This vanilla powder is very disappointing. I used a whole teaspoon but still the taste was very mild compared to Wilderness Poets Pure Vanilla Powder, which I only needed to use half a teaspoon in my baking. The Wilderness Powder has a much richer vanilla taste.

The bag I got was expensive and it smells so bad I do not want to add it to my dry mix that I have prepared. Too late to return it, but I'm going to have to trash it. Ugh.
