Excellent and Informative Account of Author's Radio Career
In an excellent command of the English language, the Author recounts his career in radio. With flashes of brilliance and occasional clouds of stupidity, he writes of successes and failures to include humorous situations caused by poor judgment and immaturity that jeopardized his employment and wounded his ego. It was my supreme privilege to know and be close friends with Robert Hensler in the 1950's, known then as Bob Scott, when he DJ'd and managed the program of "The Mighty 690" Country radio station KHEY in El Paso, Texas. Reading his book was a nostalgic experience wherein I relived a wonderful friendship and revisited old locations. God bless the Author.

You can believe it!!!
Interesting but as most radio people are, unfocused. No problem. The stories are more than typical for most radio people as this author really cared about his family as well as the business. My career took me through Binghamton twice and almost brought me to WNBF. That console described here was still there in 72. Radio has changed but you get a good idea of how it was. Having been through similar experiences I can believe every bit of the stories.

Moderately interesting
An honest memoir of a screwup in the radio business during the 59s and 60s, this book does give the flavor of radio in a golden age.
