I discovered this brand Eight Saints when I tried a sample kit of facial products. This face cleanser was included. At first I thought that it might be drying due to the clay elements. It it is not drying at all. In fact, this has become my favorite cleanser. First, it smells good. There is no added fragrance which I appreciate, but it still smells really clean and fresh. It also like the texture - not gritty, goes on well and feels great on my skin. And most importantly, it cleans so well! My face feels fresh and not dry at all. It even removes eye make up which is nice because I now don’t have to use makeup wipes before cleaning my face. I’m not sure how a gentle cleanser is so effective but it really is! I love other Eight Saints products like the serums and lotions, so having this cleanser as a first step is a wonderful way to begin the day!

I really like this face wash, and frankly everything I've tried with this company.I originally bought this for my son who was struggling with acne. Many of the products he was using were dying out his face and natural oils causing him to break out more.We both started using this product. I'm in my mid 40's and he in his teens. While it's not specifically for acne, it provides a gentle but effective clean that doesn't strip away your natural oils and it reduced breakouts.A little product goes a long way. I use a pea size drop, It forms a good lather, dissolves my makeup and has a light pleasant scent.With all the options out there, I like this one because the ingredients are natural but effective. I originally thought it was slightly expensive but not anymore. This is my second purchase just so we could have one in both bathrooms and not fight over it. One 6.7 ounce tube lasts a long time.

Product arrived sealed and perfectly packaged. I needed a natural, clean ingredient cleanser that didn’t leave my skin feeling dry. The scent is light and clean, the gel consistency feels nice and the lather is more creamy than foamy. This cleanser leaves my skin dewy and prepped for my toner. It gludes on the skin and a little goes a long way- don't waste product. A dime sized amount is plenty unless removing makeup, then go over twice. They sent a good size for the price which is surprising for a higher end skincare line. I am a fan of the products I have tried so far, and I'm glad they now sell them on Amazon. I'll review other products I try, especially for mature, fair skin issues.

I’ve been using this for the past 8 days. I started out only using it at night in case it dried me out. It did not so now I use it morning and night. I tried eight saints discovery kit and liked all the products but this cleanser wasn’t in it. Since this says it helps with oily skin I thought I’d try it. It definitely helps keep my skin from gettIng oily At least halfway through my day if not longer. With any other products I’ve used that say it helps oily skin , I’m usually oily within the hour. Definitely 5 stars across the board for me! The only thing I would change on this product is it comes out of the squeeze bottle to fast so I’d make it a pump but that doesn’t take away from the effectiveness of the product. I purchased the largest option and I think it’ll last me at least 5/6 months so definitely a good value. I’m a recent breast cancer survivor and switched a lot of things in my life/ routine to all natural ingredients this brand is definitely a staple in my routine now with the natural ingredients and effectiveness!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using the Eight Saints Down to Earth Mud Gel Face Wash for about two months now, and I really like it. I have combination/acne prone skin—oily in the T-zone and a bit dry on the cheeks—so I’ve always struggled to find a cleanser that balances both without stripping my face. I struggle with hormonal acne and this product hasn't caused me any breakouts which is huge. It has a really nice texture—it is lightweight but has a rich feel when massaging it in. It gives me that deep clean sensation, especially after a long day or a workout, but my skin never feels tight or irritated afterward. The scent is subtle and almost “earthy.”My complexion looks more even and feels smoother, and I’ve noticed fewer breakouts.If you’re looking for a gentle yet effective cleanser that leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh—without any dryness—I would recommend giving this a try. Also, a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts.
