This book is written to define these learning disorders. If you want a book to read about the studies, this is a great read. However, it did not help us at all. At the end of the book there's some techniques to use for students with learning disabilities, but they were difficult to understand and even more difficult to put to use.

Explains a lot of things that i have seen not only with my dyslexic daughter but also when my step daughter has had problems with maths confidence when due to some of the things her teacher has said to her about how she is doing things; which is a shame as she was enjoying maths and it took a while to get that confidence back in what she was doing, I can see how children start losing their love for it when teachers don't adapt to the learning methods of the pupils and various other factors that are reviewed in this text.

A good book, however it can be difficult to understand so give it a good read first and look through the book and plan the learning ahead if time.
