Furniture Rehab KD Clip Bracket for Recliner Mech Mechanism

We bought a Wayfair power lifter chair a long while back and it was fine for good long while until my mother was resting her back and the left bracket failed putting her flat on the floor. She was fine but the part seemed weak so luckily I found this more sturdier one here on Amazon and was able to tell right away it is much stronger than the one it came with so we replaced it and now it is performing as it did. I may consider getting another for the right side or as a spare just in case. For a critical part you would think they would make it more sturdy and not bend.

Quotes to get the repair/replacement done were unrealistic but, after a quick search of the recliner chair plan (and identification of what the part was called), I realized that anyone with a wrench could do the repair done in little more than an hour. This was a perfect fit for a broken seatback clip on my Lagarto dual power reclining loveseat from Jerome's Furniture. Jerome's never returned my calls when I tried to exercise their so-called warranty. So I had to do an image search and this KD clip popped up. Without the exact dimensions I took a chance that the clip would fit, and it did.

Perfect! A bit different looking the the clip on my recliner, but quick and easy to replace and worked like a charm!!! Even thought it was a little different it still worked. Yay

I bought a brand new Stratolounger loveseat. When we unboxed it to assemble the loveseat, we discovered the bracket was missing from one of the seatbacks. The only solution the retailer could offer was to return the loveseat to the store and get another one. That was not convenient as the retailer was 60 miles away. Found this bracket out here on Amazon. Had it in 2 days. It is an exact match to the hardware on the loveseat. Now the loveseat is as it should have been out of the box. It was worth it as it saved me from the hassle of hauling a loveseat back and forth from the store.
