Actually works! Just wash with a bit of soap and water, and smells come right off. As someone who cooks frequently, it's nice to not have to be smelling onions and garlic on my hands for hours afterwards.

I know someone who has had one of these things for years & she swears by it, so decided to get this one. Already tried it out after dicing onion & it worked beautifully! Not even a teeny bit of onion odor left! And though it's a bit smaller than some I've seen, it fits perfectly in my smallish hands.Sometimes old-fashioned ideas work best!

The item works well at removing pernicous food stains from your hands quite easily. Just wash your hands and use the "soap" like soap under the water. I can only really fault the stand itself which has no drain and has sharpish edges on the bottom side.

This little disc is amazing. Stainless steel. When you cut up an onion or garlic or anything that leaves a smell on your hands just lather up, use the disc to wash your hands or just rub it on your hands and smell is gone. Great gift for newlywed, you can do the same thing with your faucet but are not made with stainless, copper doesnt work.

It is perfect size love the fact the stand or holder has slots to drain excess water and with a little soap added it's just like washing ur hands with actual soap and removes all onion smells from hands instantly.

I bought this bar instead of the other choices in stainless bars because it comes with a stainless steel tray. Other stainless steel bars had no tray, or plastic trays. Initially, when I received this item I was unenthusiastic about its size, I wanted a larger bar. After using this item for a couple of months though, I am very happy with the shape and size of the bar because it fits between the fingers excellently. Additional the round shape vibes with my aura or something. This stainless steel 'soap' bar gets my recommendation.
