We use one a month as recommended and I believe they work well. This pack is a two pack which lasts one year. Which makes it worth the price. They dont have a small as far as I can tell, i dont smell the bag though. You drop one in the toilet and flush. About as clean as it can get. We always wash our hands after as a precaution. Ive never found any pods that are leaking and I believe it's a powder inside.
