Reformation Study Bible (2016) NKJV, Leather-Like Light Gray Leather Bound – March 15, 2016

Pros:-Even though heavy, I got the soft cover so it bends easily to read near the binding.-Has so many helpful resources in it.-Enjoy the translation and I have read many translations (especially KJV). It’s very close to what I am used to (King James) and is easy to read and understand even for someone who hasn’t been studying Bible for decades.-Easy to use all the helps. Sometimes a tiny bit awkward because of how huge it is but that’s to be expected.Cons:-Haven’t really found any yet.HIGHLY RECOMMEND SOFT BOUND VERSION.

The comments are concise and to the point, they are focused upon theological help. The mini-articles along the way are the same way—they focus pretty strictly on teaching theological content. There are some maps, hardly any charts but just not as many as you find in MacArthurs or the ESV Study Bible.ESV study Bible is the best all-around study Bible in my estimation. This Bible has the best theological content in my estimation, but it isn’t as focused on explaining the events in the scriptures as closely as something like the ESV Study Bible is. The MacArthur study Bible is better described as more focused on helping the scriptures have clarity, period. Whether that means a chart to help you see the links between the numerous judges and kings or whether that means pointing out nuanced texts and geographical information.I’m not try to say that these study bibles are actually all that different but the general scheme could fit one person better than another depending on how they are studying.

I love it, it's beautiful. It's got theological notes on every page. It actually has the Westminster confession, belgic confession, and so much enriching catechism. Oh and just in case you don't know that world is not just for the Catholics. I recommend

I received my Reformation Study Bible yesterday and it is very impressive. It is worth every penny I paid. I bought the faux leather model and I like it. The cover is durable and has a textured surface that resembles and feels like real leather. The most important parts of the RSB are the contents. There are many verse by verse comments and illustrations on every page that add to an in-depth learning experience. In addition, there is a Topical Articles and a Creeds, Confessions, and Catechisms sections at the end of the Bible that enhances learning. This RSB is big and heavy. You will probably enjoy reading it most from your desk. The version I bought is 2660 pages in length and does not include the 16 pages of full-color maps at the back of the book. Dr. Sproul and the RSB team have produced a serious, academically sound study bible that I will treasure and enjoy for many years.

This NKJV bible is made with very high quality paper, the binding is good, and the premium leather is very nice. The bible has an incredible amount of explanation and information of scripture. The print is clear and sharp, as so are maps and other printed images. This study bible so far excels others I have for the way everything has been put together, well thought out and executed! There are some words that have been changed from the KJV bible, So, as I do with anything I read for biblical gain of knowledge, I fall back on the old tried and ture KJV bible, if any questions of variance arise. Got this as a gift after having a few of my own.

Are you Hungry? . Really hungry for the word of God and to stand on Gods final Authority for every Believer in Christ?!. Then this Study Bible is a must. Thick yes for a reason. A lot of explanations footnotes to help a Baby Christian or mature . I’ve gotten 4 and am ordering another .I give this Bible to People I Love or anyone asking who are in search of a trustworthy study Bible to help them grow in their relationship with the One and True Living God.

I was a little bit nervous to order this Bible due to negative reviews about earlier editions relating to the quality of the type and the paper with excessive bleed through. I am very happy to report that I have had none of these issues with my NKJV 2016 edition, plus I am finding that I really enjoy the NKJV (a translation that I have had only a passing familiarity with in the past). The notes etc are terrific as to be expected. It has quickly become my go-to reference source.
