Great heating pad! The shoulder pads are weight to help keep them on your shoulder and it is super comfortable. It covered me fine and fits most sizes, but if you are on the bigger heavier side the should pads probably won't touch, but the heating element will still work great. Great price for such a useful quality of life item. Not batter operated, but the cord is plenty long to reach from my side table to the bed with a little extra room. Fabric is a great grey quality cloth that is fluffy and comfy.

I now own two of these heating pads. I first bought one for myself for neck, shoulder, and back pain, and it works wonderfully. The fabric is extremely soft, the cord is long enough, and I love that it fastens at the neck and around the waist, if you choose to use it that way. I’ve used smaller heating pads that I had to hold against myself or strategically place pillows so that my muscles actually get the heat, and that’s not necessary with this item. You can manage the temperature and duration with a very easy to use control that is attached to the cord, and it works fine for multiple cycles. It will turn off automatically once the time is reached.I bought the second heating pad to replace my first one when I let a family member with arthritis try it and didn’t get it back lol. Not that I would have taken it back, because it really helped alleviate leg pain, so I just bought another one. She lays it down the length of her legs like a warm blanket. We both give this product five stars.

Coverage:Covers all the areas that I experience the worst torture from my neck, base of head, shoulders, lower back, hips and tailbone too. Very thankful I found this amazing aid ~ It gives a lot of relief and really helps! Nice heating pad and size. Not giving 5 stars because the first one only lasted 3 years before the controller stopped working. My wife likes it enough that I ordered another one for her. Nice, soft fabric and the timer feature is nice.

I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day and she really loved it, it has helped her with her back pain and her neck pain she claims she gets, it's really flexible and the battery life is amazing for her, she said she likes that she can control how much heat she wants and how good quality it is! It's a good size for her and it's a bit big for her but she likes it! The heat level is amazing and my mom claims that it has soothed her aches and pains away, she didn't mind the color of the pad all too much so this was a great gift for her!

UPDATED REVIEW:Previously my heating pad stopped working. Before that I loved it and had no complaints. The company was fantastic and worked with me to get a new one. Their customer service is FANTASTIC and I highly recommend themThank you for my new heating pad!But seriously, this thing is great.It has different heat settings so you can pick which is best for you and it fits perfect over your shoulders with just enough weight that’s comfortable and it doesn’t slide off.I have horrible back and shoulder pain. I live with this thing.

I wish it was hotter (when I am in this much pain, I want to be ROASTED). That is the only reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars. It is still quite warm.It is very comfortably shaped. There are sandbag-like weights in the front of the shoulders, which are so light they don't cause any discomfort but they do make the pad stay where it needs to be. The front clasp is well positioned to keep the heating elements where they need to be without choking me. The cloth is very soft. The heating is steady and is applied to all the right areas (no cold or hot spots). The cord is nice and long. This is a very well designed item.
