I cant complain
Honestly i bought this for a Raspberry Pi 5 8gb. I cannot and will not complain at all about this display. for the price it is dead on. perfect. really good quality construction and the image is really good. the touch functionality is also very good. it is a great project display. i'm running retro pi 32bit whatever the latest build is for today 01-28-2024. some will complain about the resolution being low but again, for the money i'm very happy with it. i might go to a 10.1" screen cause my eyes are not the best anymore but this would be a great screen for just about any project. i might find a case for it at some point but for now it can stay as it is.

Works with Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
I bought this screen for a project that uses Windows XP, had trouble getting it to work at first (no input registered). What I found is that the touch will only work on Windows XP if you're using a Tablet PC Edition. Picture quality is great too - if not a bit high-contrast for my application - and it looks great from all angles. My sole complaint is the lack of brightness control, the display is fairly bright which can't be tamed. The backlight on/off switch is exactly as it says, but switched off it's invisible under my typical use conditions. It's worth noting that I couldn't get touch to work with the secondary USB port plugged into a wall wart, no matter in what order they were plugged in. I'd guess they're both intended to be plugged into the same host machine, but right now it's working fine with just the one.

Great value for the money. Nice, but does NOT work with Windows 10!
Excellent value for the money. Worked right out of the box on an older Gateway desktop system running Linux. Great color rendition, and lots of resolution. Not quite as successful on a mini-PC running Windows 10, but I suspect I need to load the special drivers that come with it on a DVD (I have no DVD input to the mini-PC, so I'll have to transfer files using a jump drive) to get proper performance. This is the mini-PC I'm using: Beelink Z83-II Mini PC Intel Atom x5-Z8350 Processor (2M Cache, up to 1.92 GHz) Intel HD Graphics 400, DDR3 2GB + 32GB(C:)/ 1000Mbps LAN/ Dual-Band WiFi/ BT 4.0 [Support Windows & Linux System] At least, I hope that solves the problem.Update One: It turns out that there are no special drivers needed for Windows. I just needed to reboot the mini-PC, and that got all the proper Windows drivers running. The display on the mini-PC was rock solid, with great definition and color. However, after some testing, I found that the touch portion of the screen interface appeared to be defective. Elecrow was very supportive, and corresponded with me daily to iron out this issue. They even offered to credit me some cash if I wanted to accept the screen with the defect. But touch functionality is necessary for my project, so I am sending this one back to get another - because the display functionality is that good!Update Two: Well, now I know the real issue. This display is compatible with Windows 7, but NOT with Windows 10. According to the Seller, their technician determined that a system running Windows 10 cannot identify the device number correctly (I suspect the touch screen is driven as a mouse, and not a true touch screen, because a USB mouse device "ByQDtech" appears when the display is connected to the computer - other displays similar to this one have the same problem). There may be a software update in the future, but for now, this display does NOT work with Windows 10.

Great Quality
Works well with my Raspberry keyboard. Had no problem connecting at all. I even bought a cover from the company, and it shipped from China, and I received it in just a couple of days.

2 months with it!! no problem i love this screen so much
The media could not be loaded. you can even load up tabs on it or load small games - small resolution but it's the thought that counts <3 probably the easiest thing to install and it's a really good addition if you have nothing to do with ur money LOl

Works very well with my Raspberry Pi 5
I purchased two of these screens to use with my two Raspberry Pi 5. The touch screen works very well and is very responsive. It is sharp with very good colors.Just one thing to note: at least with the Raspberry Pi 5 I didn't have to make any configuration changes as described in the screen user manual since it worked great out of the box.

Good quality display, easy to install, works with Raspberry Pi
Received this display yesterday. Contrary to other users feedback, I am pleasantly surprised. The mechanical and display graphics quality is good. The display, incl touch, works straight out of the box when connected to a MacBook and Dell laptop. For easy install on a Raspberry Pi, no drivers needed, you just need to modify the config.txt file on the RPI SD card with a text editor.Add following text at the end of the file:max_usb_current=1hdmi_group=2hdmi_mode=1hdmi_mode=87hdmi_cvt 1024 600 60 6 0 0 0With this information, you do not need anything from the included CD for a successful install. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the installation for RPI is only on CD. A quick install sheet with above instructions would have been better as not everybody has CD drives.
