Durable but my "new" pool looks "used"
Well, so far I don't have MAJOR regrets about this purchase, but I do have some regrets. Here's the good: The side walls are solid and I can't see how we could possibly break them, they are definitely durable and will last for the long hall. My kids (2&5 years old) love the slide. We fill the pool only halfway (otherwise the entire slide would be under water) and there is a little step off the side of the pool so that even little ones can get onto the slide without help. And I do like the blue color. Here's the bad: The bottom of the pool is thinner than the sides, so it's not as durable. The sides are solid and cannot be manipulated or bent or pushed with our hands. The bottom of the pool is rigid (it's not the soft fabric type plastic, it's much bettet than that), but it can be pushed, manipulated, or popped in and out and has a wavy look to it, it's not flat, thick, and virtually immovable like I expected it to be. We were nervous about placing the pool over the sharp landscaping rocks (where we originally planned to place the pool) and had to change the location to our smooth concrete patio. The slide is a possible hazzard that we had to consider how to handle. We supervise our children while they are in the pool, but even still we are nervous that our children will stand up on the flat platform where the slide begins while we aren't looking. The platform, of course, butts up against the edge of the pool. We are afraid they stand on it and possibly slip and fall backward onto the concrete patio or slip and fall forward in standing position down the slide and possibly injure themselves. We have talked to the children about how they should only get onto the slide on their bottom and we put a tall backed patio chair with arms behind the slide as a precaution hoping it will catch any falls. So far they are approaching the slide on their bottoms, so no problems there yet. Here's the UGLY!: Well, the pool is literally ugly! I expected to see some scratches and dust, but what we got was a pool that is covered in huge, deep scratches and a thick layer of dirt. I spent a half hour scrubbing it out with a brush and dishsoap. The deep scratches are on the bottom of the pool and everywhere on the lip. This pool has spent months and perhaps years sitting outside being shoved, pushed, and tossed around giving this pool damage that my 2 boys could never inflict upon it even with the harshest treatment. So I feel like a got a "used" pool and I have to admit I'm pretty bummed about it. If it had come looking like a new pool I would have given this pool 4.5 stars. But since I got a pool that looks like it was thrown down a rocky mountain and left to weather the elements for months on end, it definitely deserves a flat 3 stars.

Great fun when a kiddie pool is too small and ...
Great fun when a kiddie pool is too small and there is little room to put in a real pool or you rent. If using as a pool without a filter, add a little Chlorine and Borax to keep it clean and sparkling longer. Easy to clean and very durable. We have not regretted our purchase and it has fulfilled its intended use. We are adding a pool pump, salt water filter and three waterfalls this year, as it has become our little oasis on our covered/screened deck. Be aware that local code ordinances may require fencing around it, or a hard cover that can support a certain weight limit, due to its depth.

Durable and the kids still LOVE it, two years later
Sturdy, easy to drain, this pool was exactly what we were looking for. The seats and slide are a nice edition, and while they will not be swimming laps, it is nice for a dip to cool off in. Four of my kids play it in all at once, although three seems the max without overcrowding. Our ONLY complaint is the lip along the underside of the lip - it catches water when you tip the pool to drain what little does not make it out through the drain. But with all of the pluses, this minus hardly registers. Two thumbs up!

I bought this pool over 10 years ago because we were tired of buying kids pools . We have 23 grandchildren under 14 and this pool has become their summer favorite ..,, for all ages .we love it . We found it at a local IFA or farm store . Then it was about 180$ . It has been worth every penny!

Lasts forever!
We have had this pool for ten years and used it daily all summer for two youngest kids. Hadn't used it for the last four years and it was full of dirt, leaves, and bird droppings from being stored under trees. After I power washed last month for my grandees, it was as good as new! Filled it up again today to bathe our very dirty ranch dog. I lost the plug during the long period of storage, so I took a picture of the drain and showed to the local well guys and they gave me a replacement.

Fantastic Buy
We've had this pool for almost 14 years and I guarantee it will be around another 10-15 years. Extremely durable, including the bottom. Not sure what other guy was talking about. Also not sure what he was talking about in terms of scratches and such, but we have pulled ours around all over the place by hooking it to our Ranger to get it from one place to another and in almost 14 years it still looks great. Well worth the money.
