The best part of this butter dish is the size. You can fit 2 sticks of butter without much hassle. My only concern is the top gets a bit buttery if you use the little knife every time. We are chronic butter scrapers and like to scrape the excess off butter on the side but this dish is forcing us to change our ways for the good. I didnt realize how expensive butter dishes were at other box stores and I feel like I got good quality for a good price with this butter dish. It serves its purpose.

Growing up my family always left butter out but for some reason i refrigerated it. Well after destroying my toast for years i finally decided i was going to leave my butter out and purchased this dish. i leave it on the counter next to my homemade sour dough bread. I actually think i use more butter now because everyone wants bread with soft butter now !!

I've been needing a butter holder forever. This is perfect. Luckily the company packs their butter dish very well because USPS tossed the package with a THUMP into the hallway and thanks to the companies packaging, it was not damaged!

I love this butter dish!! It matches my kitchen perfectly, but he knife does not fit securely onto the lid. My sister bought one and hers does, that was the main reason I bought it! Kind of disappointing.

I was looking for a covered butter dish, that would seal & be different from all the others. This one hit all the boxes. Nice size, great color, love the bamboo top & the butter knife is adorable. Top seals really well,( Reason I was looking for a new one, really dislike the ones that just lay on top & are not secure - like the old fashioned dishes) this one will keep your butter covered & fresh & you would never have to worry about your butter attracting odors from fridge.

I purchased the black with white letters. I read the great reviews and decided to purchase because I had been looking for a replacement butter dish. Well I am certainly not disappointed with this! Very nice quality and the butter knife is one of the nicest I now have! Do not hesitate to purchase, as I think you'll be pleased!

The knife doesn't stay put, so when I move it it is forever slipping off. I really wish I'd gone for one without the knife. Otherwise, this is a cute butter dish. The only other caution is that it is cream colored. I ordered a bread box that showed as a set with this, and the bread box is white and the fonts are a little different. I like them both, but they definitely are not a set.

I really enjoy this butter dish. Large dish, thick walls, lid fits snugly. Don't really like that the little spreader knife just sits on the lid and isn't "restrained" so to say - so when you take the lid off, you can't flip it over to set it down easily without the spreader falling out of the groove. Minor annoyance. Love the blue color -is a nice attractive dish on my counter.

Nice quality. Looks good sitting in the fridge.
