This is a great swing. I thought it was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. Took about 1-1.5 hours by myself. I needed some help uprighting it.It’s very sturdy and the kids love it!

In total it took my husband and I about 2 hours from unboxing to having in anchored in the ground. Great quality and overall very easy to put together. My only concern is the ground anchors - we live in the midwest where we get some strong straight line winds so we are going to be looking into some heavier duty ones - but the overall unit is very heavy as well. Amazon delievered right up to our garage (they actually put it inside our garage between our cars which I thought was very nice!). I forsee this swing set having a very long life due to the great quality, size (I could see kids up to 10 years-12 years finding this swing fun with how tall it is) and versatility of switching out the swings. Overall for the price I highly recommend!

Have not had this very long but initial impressions are excellent. It is heavy duty and well made. The installation was surprisingly easy. Took less than 2 hours for 2 of us. The instructions are excellent and everything is labeled. Most anyone can assemble this but do recommend a helper as some parts a little heavy. The finishes are really good.This is a large swing set which is what we wanted so pay attention to the dimensions. It is tall and long. We really like it.

I was able to put the frame of the swing set together by myself and hang all the attachments while it was laying down. It came with all the tools needed- with the exception of a 10mm socket on a ratchet. Everything else in there. The anchors are stuffed into the top beams. Just so you know where to find them. Extra nuts and bolts and screws came with it. It took me a couple of hours to attach what I could and lay it down on the lawn and then one more hour to attach the legs and side poles and leg feet base which required a second person as I could not align the holes in the legs with the top beam without someone holding the weight of the leg pole. Then we were able to flip it up and it was all done. I have average sized children- aged 6 and 8- and I haven’t attached the stakes yet (that part seems tricky) but the frame is so heavy and everything so sturdy that they are both able to play on it without it even rocking. I was very pleased and my children love it and it supposedly fits adults who are less than 150 pounds. I am able to swing on it just fine and I am an average size female adult. Very very happy with the purchase- and I have never been happy enough in the past to write a review.

So I replaced our old wooden swing/slide after 3 years of it being in rough shape. The swings were too small for our 7 year old.We purchased the Big Brutus and have loved it. The installation was insanely easy and seems to be incredibly well built and will last far longer than our wooden swing set ever would. Took a couple to put up with 1 person for 90% of it and 2 people for the rest.Our 7 and 3 year olds love it. There is a massive swinging arc that is comparable to a swing set at a park or school. No worries about kids feet hitting at they get older. You can adjust the heights of the swings and also swap out the seats for toddler style seats or rope swings.All the parts individually are very light weight. You can use the swing with smaller kids with a level ground without stakes, BUT I would highly recommend using the stakes as it could flip with enough speed and weight eventuallyFew Tips:1.) I would recommend leveling ground under the legs2.) The stakes are a pain. For me it helps to use a large piece of rebar/metal rods or a long screw driver to left twist the stakes into the ground. If ground is too hard, soak ground in water to soften.3.) Be careful using a drill or especially an impact wrench in assembly. You can over tighten and bend the metal especially at the top to attach hooks to frame for swings.

Really good build quality overall! My only complaint is the included ground anchors which are insufficient for the size of the swingset even for use with small kids, let alone an adult. I ended up replacing them with some 36” heavy duty ones I got elsewhere on Amazon which did the trick. (See attached pic for a scale comparison) Assembly was very simple if you follow the included instructions. I did it with the help of one of my kids.

This is the perfect swing. Big enough for even adults and very sturdy. Assembly was pretty simple except we removed a couple leg sections in order to assemble top bar…just put legs back on when top bar was installed. Took 2 adults about 3 hours to assemble. Parts were well labeled but written instructions just included pictures…no written directions. Tried to use BILT app but it was a sunny day so could not see app on my phone. Delivery was worst part. Was delivered a day late with no communication on delivery at all. No call or text that delivery was delayed. No 30 minute pre call letting us no delivery was on its way. They just showed up when I was away. Left it in driveway anyway. But kids love the swing set and it looks like it will last for years…kids won’t outgrow it!

The media could not be loaded. After a lot of thought about what to put in a home playground for our large family, I bought two of these. They are excellent. They are large and sturdy, and I feel comfortable that they will hold up well to any kind of use and abuse from our five kids. My husband built them both outside in the rain in just a couple hours on Christmas Eve, and he didn’t have any complaints about the building process. It took the two of us to push them up into position. My husband and I have both tried them out ourselves with no issues, but generally they are used by our kids ages 2-11. They’re large for a 2-year-old (but his siblings help him to make it work), fine for our 3-year-old, great for the 6- 8- and 11-year olds, and the kids will never physically outgrow them. I did not think the safe play area in the user manual was adequate, so we expanded our playground pad to be about 36’ front to back. We added a locally made merry go round and a digging area, and now we have a nice-sized low-maintenance playground without spending much on equipment.
