Good item
Seems well built. Grips onto my phone quite well and doesn’t wobble

Stylish and practical
There’s not much to say other than it works well. Easy to install, magnets are fairly strong, etc.Compared to other car mounts, its aesthetic design is certainly more tasteful — looks like a first-party accessory.I use it with a wired CarPlay setup, so the lack of wireless charging is something I specifically sought out.

Works incredibly well.
I would tell people don’t ask me how many different units I have tried that have failed. And they failed miserably. My car also has very odd dashboard and it’s really hard to mount any kind of bone holder.A friend was driving and had their phone attached to this unit and I was seriously blown away about how well it held it. I tried my phone worked perfectly and I got the information and ordered this Belcon unit. For me, this is not JUST the best, it is the ONLY unit that ever been able to hold my cell phone well.I’ve had it for a year and it’s still going strong. Hope this helps.

NOT for MAX-sized models…
Let’s just be real and admit that these things DO NOT WORK for models that are MAX or larger than the base model. While it held it in place, once I removed my MagSafe-compatible phone case, it wouldn’t have survived a bumpy ride or a few hard turns barely holding onto my 12 Pro Max. LUCKILY I bought it from Amazon resale so I saved $10 from the promo price so I’ve decided to keep it because it’s actually a quite effective stand with- or without my phone’s case. Definitely sturdy enough to hold my phone upright while I’m in the kitchen or next to my iPad when I’m writing and need to keep my phone up for quick reference. All in all, if your phone is the STANDARD size iPhone then you’ll be safe with it but with the weight of my Pro Max, even the thickness of my Volvo’s vertical vent partition wasn’t effective enough to secure it without it sliding off slowly. Happy accident I can repurpose it as a lightweight travel/night stand while it charges on its side so it’s a keeper if you can get one resale/open box for cheap!

Great
This is our second purchase (second car) we have no complaints. Strong magnet and stable attachment to the car. We’ve have our first one for over a year and it is still in perfect condition.

Simple, fairly effective, overpriced
Note that this thing is only a holder. It has no charging capabilities of its own, so for that you'd need to plug a cable directly into the phone itself. Belkin does offer other models with built-in MagSafe charging. I'm using this model to mount an iPhone 13 Mini on the passenger side of the center dashboard vents in a 2016 Volvo XC60. If I had a Belkin model with MagSafe charging, I'd still need a separate USB cable any time I wanted a wired data connection. The holder is simple to install, just push it all the way into a vent. You may need to fiddle a bit to make sure the weight of the phone does not pull the vent down from your desired viewing position. Make sure the holder is all the way in.The "integrated cable management" slot on the back is too narrow or stiff to easily accommodate my USB-to-lightning cable. My cable looks like the kind Apple provides with new iPhones (that is, the kind with a white rubbery jacket, not a soft braided jacket). A thinner cable, or one with a different kind of insulation jacket, should work fine. The plastic holder doesn't seem sturdy enough to survive being dropped on a hard surface (not that I've tried). I suppose it's sturdy enough for the intended purpose. So far, it has held the phone just fine for a couple drives. It easily swivels between portrait and landscape positions.Summing up: it's a handy device. I'm glad to have it, although at the current full retail price ($39.99) IMO it is way overpriced for what it is.

Carefully consider buying
I have the iPhone16 Pro and the Belkin is strong enough to hold the phone. If I'm driving a local road the phone stays on perfectly. However if I make a turn or hit a bump in the road, the phone has flown off several times. Definitely frustrating especially if I'm driving in an area I'm unfamiliar. I could see this being perfect if you had an older iPhone model that had Magsafe.
