Barska Wall Mount Multi-Purpose Locking Mail Suggestion Drop Box with Key Lock for Home Office Classroom

We were needing a cash box for our breakroom at work where employees could place money for buying soda or cookies and this box was perfect.We had tried shorter ones but there were problems with people "fishing" out the dollar bills. This one was tall enough to solve this issue and it is also constructed of a thicker metal than others we had looked at.I also liked the double-sided key. Most of these style boxes use the same kind of lock which you see on office desks and cabinets. They are usually cheap locks and one key can open several locks (not to mention they are easy to pick with a paperclip and a screwdriver). The double sided lock/key cures this issue as well!

I needed a place to lock up my notary supplies at work, we researched all kinds of safes but none of them would work in my work space. I saw that our human resources was using one of these and realized that if it was turned sideways so that the slot doesn't show it would be perfect for the space and budget. None of my supplies will fit through the slot so no worries of anything falling out.

Sturdy and clean. We use this on the inside of our property to collect rent from tenants, so it is not exposed to rain or the elements. The metal near the top is somewhat bendable, but this unit is deep enough that I think someone would really have to bend the metal bad to put their fingers in their and get something out. So all in all it does exactly what we hoped it would and looks nice.

Worked perfectly for a place for folks to drop their CEU forms in at the end of the conference. Safe, secure, easy to pack. We just laid it flat on the registration table, and taped a laminated sign saying "Put CEUs Here" and an arrow pointing down to the back end. It holds approximately a ream of paper, so it had no problem gathering the approximately 50 CEU forms we needed to collect.

Guess I was expecting something a little more sturdy. Not that this one is going to fall apart, but if someone wants to get into it, it won’t take more than a flat head screw driver.

Ok box but only use indoors as it is not weatherproof.

Sturdy, stronger than anticipated, works as advertised. I’m impressed with the quality of this drop box purchased for employee use at my warehouse. I’m shocked at the weight of the box, it is far stronger than I imagined.
