Marrakech Metallic Paisley Floral Brown, Quilting Fabric by the Yard

Absolutely gorgeous! Some of the reviews were confusing as to the colors because of course everyone's color perception differs so im including some photos that will hopefully help you make a decision. I was particularly looking for something with teal and when i asked questions some said no teal but blue and somebody said greens and some teal. Well its all of the above. But IMO and to my extreme delight DEFINITELY teal! Also some deep emerald, a shade of blue, but wouldnt know how to describe it, warm creams, a deap rich brown background along with what i would call a light mossy green. I bought a cheap 9 dollar walmart lamp on clearance that had a black lamp shade with a makeover in this fabric in mind. So far I've only got the shade done because I wanted to wait to see how the black shade would look covered. Pix are with lamp on, off and close up of fabric to show the gold metallic throughout. The fabric is a lightweight cotton and is of good quality..Im buying more to cover a cheap paper accordion shade also on clearance at walmart lol.

I am excited about this fabric! The drape will be perfect for my lined curtains in my bay window. The metallic embellishment is subtle, not overpowering. The weight is perfect for matching sofa throw pillow covers. The brown background brings out the warm tones in the cherry wood dining furniture. I am very happy.Thank you.

I’m almost finished with this elegant bag. I used gold ribbon to compliment the amazing metallic edged flowers on this fabric. Beautiful fabric! It's going to be a long vest to go over wrap pants. It has a shimmer that ypu really can't see in pictures. Maybe that should be in the description? Because not everyone is okay with shimmer.

I gave this fabric 4 stars even though I am not happy completely with the order. I expected it to be a black background based on image provided; but when it arrived in the mail it was most definately a brown background. The advertisement says brown but because of the image, I thought brown was in the Paisley parts and that the background was black. The brown in real life gives the fabric a completely different look... And for my particular project I needed a black background. So for me I'm not even sure I can use this fabric now because it clashes with expensive things I purchased to accent what I thought this would be. However, in fairness to the FABRIC and not the seller or misleading photo advertising, the fabric is pretty and mostly what you'd epect from the advertisement - so long as you go into it expecting a brown background and not black. Though it's a dark chocolate brown, it's still a very obvious brown and it does alter the vibrancy of the blues and creams - it dulls it. I cannot really comment on use, as I am not sure I can even use it at this time? The seller did say brown but it's onebofvthose online issues for me that what is written didn't match what I was seeing in photo. Stuff happens. If you want dark brown background I recommend this fabric!I purchased from Fabric.com who has said they will notify advertising of confusion between color. :). They delivered fast, and were kind when I let them know my disappointment.

I first got some of this fabric as a remnant at a local store. So glad to find it by the yard here. It's really pretty and the gold metallic accents sparkle.

This is another of those fabrics where what you see is not even as good as what you get. It is gorgeous! I don't yet know how I will use it, but it goes with several other fabrics I already have, so I know it will become something worthy. The color representation is very accurate. I love it.

I'm making a bag from this. It's beautiful, thick and sturdy. The metallic design really makes the colors pop. It's a wonderful combination of brown, cream and teal.
