I need to combine 3 different medications into one capsule. Milo doesn’t seem to appreciate her daily capsule full of various medications and I’m not sure she cares what it tastes like. Milo will always protest. Yet she takes the capsule and it seems to go down on the first try most of the time.

My 7 yo daughter takes medication daily, but absolutely hates the taste of the medication. I came up with the idea to crush it up (with DR aporoval) and put it in these capsules...problem solved! Taking her meds used to literally take HOURS some days. Now it's done in less than 10 minutes! Talk about a lifesaver!

Great size, right size

These gel caps were recommended by my dog's veterinarian (the vet recommended a size 3 gel cap for my 15 pound dog). My 15 pound dog has congestive heart failure and he has to take 4 different heart medications to stay alive. The pills he takes are chalky pills or pieces of whole pills cut in 1/4 or 1/2. It was impossible to give him the medicine with food because he would always detect it or spit it out. With these empty gel caps, I just open them and put the smaller pills inside and then give him the gel cap by hand directly down his throat (followed by water from a syringe). These caps have saved me a lot of time and aggravation and has made pilling my dog possible.Important: Keep in mind that the smaller the number the bigger the gel cap (so a size 2 gel cap is bigger than a size 3).

Capsules stand up to wear but break down quickly after taken.

This is the smallest empty capsule I’ve been able to find. It’s a little confusing that the size 3 is smaller than a 00. But I learned that the hard way.I have a dog that’s in congestive heart failure. He hates his meds. I’ve tried using every pill pocket on the market. But once he bites into the pill he spits out everything. He then doesn’t trust the taste of the pill pocket or food product again. Super smart rescue.I just about lost my mind trying to figure out how I was going to get my dog to take the 4 different pills he has to take twice a day. He needs them to live, so it’s very important.Once I found these empty capsules so I could break down his pills, and to place inside. Well, I can then just put these size 3 into his regular food. He takes them just fine.But when I tried to use the 00 (double zero)empty capsules, he could pick them out every time. He was very polite about it. He would just spit out the pill filled capsule next to the bowl. Got to love a polite dog. Haha 😍The 00 zero pills were easier for me to fill. I barely ever had to even break a single pill in 1/2. But they didn’t work for my dog. Now with the smaller size 3 pill filled capsules-it takes me longer to prepare the pills for him. But I don’t feel like I have to worry every time it’s pill time. I don’t have to worry that if he misses a pill he won’t survive.I HIGHLY recommend this product if you have a person or pet that has a hard time with pills. Regardless if it’s the size or taste that’s bothering them. Using these capsules (when you get the correct size) is worth every dollar I spend.

Great product. Purchased to use for cat’s medication to mask the bitterness. Small size is perfect for cats. As a bonus, I was able to combine 2 medications into one capsule. Anyone that’s ever pilled a cat knows that it’s hard enough to get your cat to take one pill, let alone two pills!Good quality and easy to use. Capsules ‘lock’ closed so no worries about them opening up.
