Exercise your brain with these fun puzzles!
What is more challenging than a wordsearch? A wordsearch without words! Essentially, that is what this is. Instead of looking for words, the puzzle-solving dynamo that is yourself is tasked with looking for repeating patterns. Essentially, this is like an exercise routine for the brain. This would be enough to make the great Dr. Kawashima of Brain Age fame very proud indeed. That said, there are a few drawbacks. For one, all of the emoji sequences you are searching for are equally short in length (five symbols). I would have liked to see some variance in the length of the sequences. If nothing else, this would have added a bit more variety to the puzzle mix. My other issue is with the emojis themselves. They are very bland, and don't really jump off the pages like emojis should. Emojis are meant to convey emotion, which these ones don't.Truthfully, I don’t like wordsearches, especially the way they are used in modern American education. I see them as an unnecessary evil. They are busywork in the truest sense of the word. They don’t teach anything, except perhaps frustration. However, this isn’t a wordsearch. I gave these puzzles to a group of fourth graders to solve. Although they found it more challenging than a typical boring waste-of-time wordsearch, they really enjoyed it! I think this is also a great exercise for young-brains, because it allows them the opportunity to memorize and recognize patterns.Overall, this is a really great product. As long as you are buying this for the unique concept, and not the emoji artwork, then I think you will be satisfied with this product. It is inexpensive and well-worth the investment.

Great!!! Love the concept
Great book!! Will enjoy spending time doing these puzzles. It’s a cool idea to do a search with Emojis. I’m not a kid or a senior. I’m 49 and I find these quite entertaining. I’m housebound and on bed rest and after a while it gets borrrring. These help me keep my mind busy and keep me off social media.

great fun
Really enjoyed this take on the word search with emojis! Images were clear and nicely spaced. I would certainly buy more like this.

different
It is different searching for pictures instead of words or numbers. It's fun.

For the visually oriented. Great for seniors
I get annoyed at the regular word search puzzles but looking for symbols is easier on the eyes! I find myself to enjoy them much more and not to get stressed out. I think that they actually might be better for 'seniors' and I've noticed in sharing with friends that the males, who tend to be more visually oriented, really enjoy them.

Looks very difficult
I buy dot to dot and word scramble books, and thought this would be a. nice change but it looks very difficult. Not sure that it was a good idea.

Fun with image recognition
I sent this to my dad as an alternative to his beloved word search books. He and I enjoyed the stimulus to a different part of the brain. Fun to share with kids.
