They are very large
These are large pieces of beef knuckles. All 4 pieces were consistent in size. I have 2 retrievers and we give them as a special treat on the weekend while we watch a few shows. It keeps them busy and we watch when they break off a piece because some can be sharp after broken and we toss those. The remaining pieces they’ll chew on all week. I have a brownish Berber carpet and need to vacuum everyday as the dogs shed and the knuckles have real meat coating on them and they it gets all over the carpet. I wouldn’t use these if I had a lighter color carpet because there are natural oils in these and it may stain.

Your dog wants you to buy these!
My pibble loves these bones! They last longer than any kind of chew toy, even those for heavy chewers. Yeah, she eventually eats these too, but they still last longer than plastic or rubber. And bones are natural. When I say she loves them, I mean that when I pull the bag out of the closet, she immediately does every single trick she knows, one after the other, without me even saying a word! The knuckle bone is a good size, and has chunks and bits of stuff left on it that seem to be the best stuff ever. Each bone is individually wrapped inside the package which keeps them fresher longer... although my dingbat doesn't seem to care how long its been in the pantry.Fair warning- these are greasy and smell like the bottom of yesterday's BBQ pit, which is, of course, *exactly* what dogs want! Do NOT let these bones on your couch or carpet. I only let my dog have these outside or on the porch so that I don't have to worry about any kind of mess. The trick is keeping her from sneaking them inside!

Nice and large. The ones for your "aggressive chewer".
My Husky really enjoys these and they keep him busy for hours. (Yay!) He buries them for a few days until the outside layer softens up a bit, then he goes at them. He gets them down to individual pieces in a medium while, but those pieces are still quite large and keep him busy for a long time afterword.

Dang, these are HUGE!!
WOW!! I'm impressed with how HUGE these are. They're a lot larger than the ones I got from another company. They're around the same price, but you get way more bang for your buck with this brand. And the dogs liked these more. I got them for my neighbors pit bull while I was pet sitting. He's an aggressive chewer, so I like to give him something to do while no one's home. I'm super picky about what I give my dogs, so I always buy high quality treats. I've purchased multiple different treats from Jack&Pup, because they have some of the highest quality products I've found. I love that they are very careful with where their products come from and how they're processed. These beef knuckles come from grass fed, free range cattle, which are never given antibiotics or hormones. They don't add in any of the extra chemicals, preservatives or artificial ingredients that aren't good for your dogs. There's only 1 ingredient in these, the knuckle bone! Not only do they taste great, but they're good for your dogs dental health. It's a natural way for them to remove tartar and plaque. The aggressive chewing also helps strengthen their gums and jaws. This is a high quality product that I will buy again and again.

SMELL- and break easily
I’ve bought knuckle bones for years, and this is the first time from this company. The bones smelled so bad that just bringing the box inside brought an odor into the house before I opened them. They looked okay- no mold or bugs like others have said, so I gave my lab one— but I honestly wanted to retch at the smell. As he chewed, unlike other knuckle bones, this one seemed to just fall apart into smaller pieces. He’s used to grinding away at the marrow and pulling bits off, but I didn’t feel safe letting him keep chewing. I wrapped the other bones in plastic and stored them far away so I didn’t have to smell them… then realized it was better to just waste the money than give him the rest of the bones. So I paid $18 and he got half of one bone.I debated trying again to see if it was just a bad batch, but I think I’ll go elsewhere instead. I really can’t describe how awful the smell was- like rotting dead carcass- even though they “looked fine”.
