Ready made crumble as good as it gets.
Having tried other ready made crumbles for topping fruit puddings, I find the 'Aunt Bessie's Ready to Bake Crumble Mix' the best one of them all. You will find that the mix does have some large lumps in it from being packed tightly together for shipping but they are easily broken up with fingers while spreading it out over the fruit base. You can add other ingredients in if you wish. I have tried it with a small amount of added oat flakes and even crushed corn flakes just to give it added texture, but it is great on its own. You won't go wrong with this mix, so much quicker and much less mess than making your own.
