Right now it is 96 degrees outside, the sun is beating in on these curtains in my office (second bedroom), and they are doing a very good job of keeping out the strong heat that runs up my electric bill for air conditioning. They are room darkening as well, especially in the navy blue. The navy blue curtains are quite attractive with a soft sheen. The navy blue is lively, more to a medium navy, as I was hoping they would be rather than a dark, dull navy blue. They are medium weight and well constructed. I have them hung using the rod pocket, but it is nice to have the option of hanging them back tab style. The rod pocket is at one end and the back tab at the other, so at the moment the tabs are at the bottom and facing the window. I have older, quite expensive, lined room darkening thermal drapes in my bedroom, but they are dry clean only. These are washable and so will be more convenient and less expensive to care for provided they do not wrinkle too much when washed. I just steamed the wrinkles out of these when they arrived and put them up because a heat wave was starting, so I can't comment on how they behave when washed. I am very pleased with them, and at the current price, they are an excellent value! I highly recommend them!I decided to order teal colored 84" length panels for my bedroom to replace the older thermal drapes which are still in excellent condition but perhaps not as effective as these drapes in this material. I definitely needed a change of color anyway!

These curtains have a very nice feel to them. I've never seen this type of hanging system before. There are tabs in the back that you slide your rod through. It's like a hybrid between the type that hang from tabs and the ones that just get slipped on to rods. My rod is a thick one and the tabs were large enough for me to use. The reason I'm only giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the color representation. I wouldn't exactly call these teal. They are more green than teal. For me, they would need to have more blue in them to be called teal. Fortunately, I can use these, but if I couldn't use green in the room, I wouldn't have been able to use them at all. I'm trying to think of a way to describe the green. It isn't turquoise at all. It's like if you darkened a mint color, this is what you'd get. If you absolutely have to have teal, these won't do it for you. Other than that, they're very nice and worth the price.

I agree with the other reviews that they don't make a room "pitch black." That said, they do block out the light very well, feel great and look fantastic! The orange color is a deep orange and not the "hazard" color I was worried it would be. I'll be buying more of these in the future for sure! See my photos for different light levels in my bedroom.

these curtains are so beautiful. they are quality material. stripes allow for different light to come through, just enough sunlight, but blurry visual of what's on the other side. they are white, not bright bright appliance white, but not cream either a true soft white. one panel is really wide, much wider than the panels I took down so a panel on each side of our double French doors worked great, I didn't have to double them up and add extra panels. they look very rick. however...the problem was there a lot of wrinkles coming out of the package. I had to iron them. Also the side edges were puckered from the way they were sewn, thus I left off one star. I tried to iron out the pucker which worked on some panels, but was too puckered to hang straight on others. I will have to cut the stitching, iron it flat and then restitch if I want the curtain to hang perfectly. Or just give it time hanging and maybe it will finally hang out straight. With the puckering on some panels, if it wasn't for the beauty and otherwise quality for the money, I would have returned them, but I am keeping them. I even bought too many because I thought I'd have to double them up for the French doors, but I didn't have to. I'm keeping the extras because I love them so much and will find other windows to use them on. A really good value if you can deal with some edge puckering.

I have the feeling i cheated this seller! I received very high quality curtains compared to the price i paid. These are 5 star hotel grade curtains. In the morning they block 100% of the light and at noon when the sun is over head about 90% which is excellent. They work great compared to other brands i got at the stores. I am very happy with this purchase and oh yes the embossed design really makes them unique and different from the simple ones i also bought from them and both are perfect! Thanks alot you've gained a new customer :)

When I first got these, I was a little worried that they were a little more Royal Blue than Navy Blue, but after hanging them, all of my concerns vanished. They are long, even with my 9' ceiling they have a couple inches to spare, they block out all light at night and most during the daytime, they are beautiful and the fabric is heavy-duty but soft and supple. I have an offset window, so I hung three to make the wall look even, and they just turned out wonderfully! It adds such a high end look to the space! I'm really glad I ordered them; I am absolutely in love with them!

Very happy with these. The color is great, providing you like purple of course, not too bright and not so dark they are almost black like purple often can be. The wight of the fabric is very nice, they hung easily and are easy to operate. They block out light just the way they advertise, I'm very happy with these, happier than I expected to be in fact. I got them as a stop gap until we could have some shades made for this over sized window in the spare bedroom because my son was going to be around for the summer and light pours in but I'm not sure I need the shades anymore and am thinking I should get another pair of these for the master bedroom too so I can block out all the light when I choose. I highly recommend these if your looking for something both light blocking and a quick fairly inexpensive fix.

Very high quality, beautifully made drapes that make the room dark during the day if needed. The fabric is a heavy weight so they hang very nicely. A very good value for the money.

It does the job..blackout curtains it is!!! I used it in my bedroom, I like sleeping in on the weekends and these curtain helps a lot blocking sun. Bought 4 pairs, 3 pairs of navy and a pair of grey, it’s thick enough for me to block the sun out, it needs ironing after washing for sure. Perfecto !!!!’ Can’t go wrong with this kind of curtain. Fairly good quality- not complete blackout but good enough. I attached a picture in full daylight. They steamed out well enough and have a nice weight to them.
