We have used RSL creative writing books and started using comprehension which I found to be super helpful and much better structured than Bond papers. Robert provides detailed explanations for each answer so than even the 9 year old can get where he was wrong and how to improve that comparing to just usual right answer that other books have. The selection of texts is great, inspired my son to go and buy few books! Thank you very much for creating these books!

My daughter finds this book very useful as explanations and answers given are very helpful for reviewing answers. I have noticed that since using this book my daughter comprehension skills specifically tackling tricky CEM MCQ have improved a lot. My older dd who has passed 11 plus last year says that the texts and questions are similar to those in real CEM exam. Any parent who wants to improve their children comprehension skills should use this book.

These books from Robert Lomax contain some of the most helpful 11 plus guidance and teaching that I've seen. The answer schemes are incredibly helpful in teaching my children how to think about comprehension answers. The books are so well written sometimes I enjoy reading them myself. I would recommend all of Robert's 11 plus material, and in particular this series of comprehension books.

Used RSL books for 2 of my children and they were so useful and helpful, with brilliant detailed answers to help parent and child understand what is needed. So many styles of questions so books would be useful whichever school you’re thinking about. My children preferred them to other tutoring options. We used the maths, comprehension, and creative writing books and I would really urge you to try one whether it’s to use in place of a tutor or alongside one. We also watched many of the youtube lessons as my second child got closer to the 11+ test.

RSL all books are incredibly helpful. The way robert explain every topic my daughter can easily understand what she needs to do.
