This calendar is a hidden gem. You receive 24 mini books but they are full stories. The size of the calendar is generous and it is also environmentally friendly as you can put it away and reuse it every year rather than buying plastic toy calendars etc. every year. It also looks great on display and makes the home look festive. My baby enjoyed me reading him a book every day and he will enjoy it even more as he gets older and it becomes a Christmas tradition. I cannot recommend this calendar enough. A really lovely item and something different to share with your child. Would make a great gift for a new baby too.

This was absolutely fantastic! Our son's first introduction to advent calenders and he loved it. Great value 24 full Mr Men stories beautifully presented. Only a few are Christmas or winter themed but still great stories. Slightly difficult to get the books out after the top row unless you have small fingers. The writing is very small too but would still completely recommend this brilliant calendar.

This advent calendar is a must have for all Mr. Men and Little Miss fans! Counting down to Christmas couldn't be more fun! There are 24 mini books to read and each one is a new, exciting surprise. There is an equal balance of Mr. Men and Little Miss stories and a wonderful hardcover on the outer book. So beautifully made and much nicer than I expected. The best new addition to holiday traditions. The gift that keeps giving! 🎄🎅❄☃️❤

Kids love them

This is a beautifully presented advent calendar. The outer hardback cover is nice and sturdy and has a lovely Mr Men and Little Miss design.There is a pocket for each of the days and in it is either a Mr Man or Little Miss storybook. These books are smaller than the traditional Mr Men/Little Miss books, and they are not the original character introduction stories but supplemental adventures for the characters - for example, day 1 is: Little Miss Giggles and the New Job. While the books are smaller, the story is full length, although the text is quite small.It’s been a while since we’ve read any Mr Men/Little Miss, but the stories seemed a little dark - not jolly stuff. It may be the normal books are like this too, and it’s just been too long for us to remember. However, it did mean that when things got a little busier in Advent, reading these stories got pushed to one side for other things, without much regret. As they were for a three month old there was no complaint, and the beauty of them being books means we can always revisit them when we have more time.In all we’d say it’s a brilliant idea as something more substantial for advent that will last longer than the season; just be aware of what you’re getting in terms of book size and nature of story.We will certainly be looking for another book advent calendar next Christmas, just with a different theme.

Such a wonderful idea to do an advent calendar with these books. They are a favorite of my family and chocolate makes my granddaughter too hyped up.
