Yes the light is bright as heck. And lives up to Nitecore’s great product.Decent battery life. It makes sense that the battery life isn’t going to be great when trying to night into day so I can deal with it.The one think I don’t like about Nitecore PXXi product line up is the proprietary battery.I have gadgetitis so I have a ton of other Nitecore products that use the standard 21700 battery. Unfortunately those batteries aren’t compatible with this light which sucks when a battery goes dead and you have swap them out in the middle of the night and get them mixed up

I bought this lantern to find some wildlife at night most of the time birds. It is great for big an tiny animal. The range of the light is awesome, therefore is not necessary to be close of the animals.

Emailed NiteCore twice, no response.We have P30 s and P30i. The P30i is not functioning reliably. The light when under full charge will do the following.Cut out, turn off,Will cut out, turn off when selecting the next intensity,Will fast flicker when selecting the next level intensity.I asked the reseller about this problem with our P30i and got an answer that it was a weak battery.So we charged a fresh brand new battery and with that battery it does the same thing.We need to be able to rely on our flashlights 100%. The P30 s have not done this. Do you have a resolution for our P30i?
