No more prop rattle!
Installed on a Mercury 60 command thrust. Larger gear case and stainless prop rather than the standard foot on the 60 is notorious for prop rattle, especially at idle speeds. Swapped the hub from the factory Flo-torq 2 to the SSR and viola! Buttery smooth operation at idle and noticeably less shift clunk. Worth every penny.

OEM quality, box was opened
Easy to install, fit my prop just right. Not yet put the boat in the water to test it but see no reason for any issue. Came with everything I needed. Only problem was the box had already been opened and everything shoved back in it.

No more "clunk"!!
Installed this prop hub kit on a Mercury Verado 200 that had low rpm vibration and would clunk hard when shifting into F/R. This kit eliminated both issues by probably 75%.

Fit my 2018 Mercury 150 stainless steel prop.
I was having bad idle speed vibration. This hub needed replacement. Fit and fixes my problem.

It Works!!
Installed on a 2024 60 hp CT and eliminated the annoying low rpm prop rattle and shift clunk. Shame on Mercury for releasing these motors without this upgrade. Now shifts/sounds like any other outboard.

Used part
Box was taped closed and noticed it had been used . It must not have fit who ever had it last . Scuff marks on the sleeve and the nut had been wrenched onto the shaft of someone else boat, long story short I paid a new price for an undisclosed used part . Yes it fits

Super smooth
I have a Bayliner VR6 w/150hp Mercury outboard. It originally came with a Black Max 19p. That prop was okay, but it would loose the grip on choppy water and the engine would surge. Basically, couldn't go fast or over waves. So, my dealer sent out a stainless steel Enertia 18p. Great prop, but it had a Flo-Torq II hub in there and it would vibrate like crazy at low RPMs. The prop was superheavy and the engine is pretty weak so it was shaking the boat around really uncomfortably. Got a Flo-Torq SSR hub, unplugged vent holes in the prop and it became the dream boat. Shifts with a gentle bump, vibration is 90% less. Extremely satisfied.

Directions say to use 100 ft lb of Torq to install this damages lock nut and propeller
Directions in Flo-Torq SSR hub kit show to torque to 100 lb-ft, the old Flo Torq 2 kits only used 55 lb-ft of torque. When installing a brand new Quicksilver propellor on to the motor with this hub kit the locknut tab washer started to bend and distort when I reached 80 lb-ft of torque, and the new Quicksilver propeller that was being held in position with a wood block now has a slight dent on the blade that was pressing into the wooden block. I do not feel that the SSR kit can be safely installed up to the specified 100 lb-ft of torque without causing damage to the locking tab, the propellor, or the prop shaft and seals. Very disappointed with this product.
