Always works great. You can wash them, but I've had mixed results with that. I usually buy 2 each semester.

Good erasers for dry-erase boards, but never get them wet!
As a teacher, I love Expo brand erasers. The only catch is that you must never get them wet. If they get wet, they are ruined. NEVER USE AN ERASER WITH EXPO CLEANING FLUID! Wipe off the cleaning fluid with a paper towel and let it air dry before using an eraser.Also, if a board stops letting you write, clean it with cleaning fluid (or lens cleaner) than get some kids to color in the whole board with dry-erase markers and wipe it down with paper towels. Repeat until you can easily write again.

Get these! do not buy the cheap amazon brand ones
I tried buying other cheaper ones but they kept leaving residue and stains behind. These are definitely worth the money!
