Learning moment. Got an error that said ‘Unable to activate Touch ID on this phone’ The original home button is paired with the logic board. I simply swapped buttons keeping the original button onboard and the sensor function was restored. Awesome product maintaining original resolution and touch screen sensitivity. My whole family has this same model phone so I am buying a couple more of these to be prepared. I would recommend getting a pack of replacement screws, they get worn and lost. A smart $4 purchase for the screws. Getting that next too.

I bought this to replace a defective screen in my old iPhone 6. It’s not my primary phone, but for not a lot of money I will keep it as a spare in case my primary phone breaks or is damaged.The screen was well packed and the tools are adequate for the job. I’ve replaced probably 20 iPhone screens for myself and family and friends. It’s not hard. But if you aren’t comfortable with a lot of tiny screws, very fragile ribbon cables, and being careful, don’t do it yourself.Screen powered up and looks as clear as the original. Touch screen functions appear to be the same as the original. And the included screen protector installed cleanly and is a nice and to me required item.Very happy with the purchase. Will report back after using it a while.

This screen was easy to install but after only about five weeks the screen is acting crazy. When I touch one part of the screen another part is activated. I was trying to send a text today and the phone jumped to another app and started our vacuum. Sometimes when I try to touch something it just doesn't respond. Worked great for about a month, but not worth the money.Update: after this review company issued refund. Great customer service.

I found I did receive a video on how to install. We switched out the camera and home button from my phone to this. It was pretty easy after we watched the video and found a video on how to switch out the camera. My 11yr old daughter was able to do all this. So nice to not have a shattered screen anymore.

Purchased two screens. One for my phone and one for a clients. Installed screen on my Iphone 6 no issues. I do have 7yrs of phone repair experience. Installed screen on clients phone, would not turn on! Removed screen to inspect and turn out there was a bur on the connector and it had touched two points together a fried the mother board on my clients phone. I now have to fork out money to replace my clients phone. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!!!! VARY POOR QUALITY CONTROL!!! Every screen I purchased on Amazon has a 50-50 chance of working. BUY APPLE PRODUCTS!

This screen is looking to be a phone screen that hacks your information. No issues with any type of account hacking before. Put this screen on and the next day I'm getting texts saying that I have been blocked out of my account for too many attempts. When I never did anything of the sort.. Item arrived fast (for free shipping); seller emailed me with you tube link that helped tremendously. Although the video showed how to remove all components, all I needed to do was re-use my old home button and it was easy to swap those out. For replacement of the screen, it was very easy as I followed the steps shown in the video. Caution: be careful and take care not to lose the screws as they are tiny. Great repair kit because it comes with all you need and the screwdrivers are magnetic helping you not to lose the screws
