My mom passed away in November and my dad’s been lost. He started looking at coins. Doing it the old fashioned way is impossible. This little device is amazing. My dad sits for hours. It brings the coins clarity into sharpness you couldn’t believe unless you saw it for yourself. This is so worth the money.

The zoom in, is amazing! I just can’t seem to zoom out quite enough tho. Worth buying. But if you’re buying for coin searches just be warned you can only zoom in or about half the coin..

The media could not be loaded.  Purchased this Dcorn 4.3-Inch LCD Digital Coin Microscope with 32GB TF Card 10X-1000X Magnification to look at the fine details of coins and it is amazing! We had no idea of the fine detail, even of a very well circulated 1914 coin. Then the kids have come up with many other cool things to check out. It has been a great learning experience for them and fun for us all to see things up closer than we usually get to. We've looked at a whole bowl-full of different gemstones and many fuzzy leaves, flowers, bones, and even fuzzballs. The variable lighting and the fine focus knob are opening their eyes to how amazing nature is. This whole set includes the digital microscope, itself, a handy user manual, a 32 GB micro card, and a USB charging cable; everything we could need. We still have some practice and learning to do, but we are all enjoying this. Its picture quality is really good, it's easy to use, and the zoom is amazing. Great product!

Works very well and is excellent to get a better look when you hook it up to your computer.

I have bought three of these and all three of them broke the same way. The issue is where you put your USB cord into the microscope to power the light. The plastic box that holds the UPS prong falls inside of the microscope after a couple uses and then you can't power it anymore and it won't work without power. There's something faulty with the manufacturing because it happened to all three and I wasn't rough with it after the first one. I was very careful but when you stick the USB into it or charging cable it pushes the plastic part inside of the machine and you can't get it out without destroying it. I wish they would make a better one because the pictures perfect. Everything about it is perfect except for it breaks after a couple times and it happened to all three of them.

Bought this in hope that I would be able to see minting errors on coins, so far so good, quick easy setup, plug into my portable battery bank & I was looking at coins within 5 min. It's true even with the height adjustments you have on the stand you won't be able to view the entire coin but that's not an issue for my purposes. The lights on this product work well enough to see the coins imperfections & any possible coin errors, I think if the product had a blue light as well you would get different contrast which I have already noticed may be a big help (Coins accumulate dirt & debris and can be quite worn from being in circulation) but my work around is holding the coin with tweezers and tilting back and forth. One thing to be aware of on the bottom of the viewing lens is a clear plastic dust cover that needs to be remove to get a clear image of the object you're viewing & then replace the cover when not in use. Of course the real test is life of product. It almost entirely plastic & I've only used it for 3 days but I hope treating it with a little TLC will provide me with years of enjoyment.

I got the 4" one and it's pretty good. If you want to move the base out of the way and use it without that then you'll have to put a weight on it to prevent it from toppling over, as the base is very light. But it seems pretty good otherwise. The lens cover came with some scratches, but the actual lens was clean. Doesn't come with power adapter to charge, so you'll need a phone brick or computer to plug the microusb cable into.Also, it ships with 50hz instead of 60hz enabled for some reason. Possibly to save battery? So make sure to go into settings and change it to 60hz if you want.

Good for coins - but not good for checking soldering on printed circuit boards. The reflected light from the joint is too high a contrast from the printed circuit board giving a image like a black blob.

Decent for what it is, definitely fun for weekend projects but the overall materials are extremely cheap and the screen is an acceptable resolution but nothing great, I guess you get what you pay for.FOR MAC USERS, I was unable to get this microscope to recognize any of my modern macs from M1 MaBook Pros to an older 2013 intel Mac Pro all running OS Monterrey. The product says it's compatible with Macs through photo booth but the instruction say otherwise. Perhaps you need a much older Mac? Who knows, if you want this for something serious I'd spend a little more money.

The image is a bit washed out and the base is made from plastic instead of metal. Since I will be using it for micro soldering I'll have to do something about that. Other than that it's a pretty good product
