You can adjust the aperture!
I bought a sigma 400mm f5.6 lens that uses an A mount, I thought I wouldn’t be able to adjust the aperture manually but I can with this adapter!Just saved myself hella money instead of buying Sony’s adapter.

So far so good
So far I've used this to adapt two older A mount Minolta lenses on my E mount Sony a7ii camera. Everything works as advertised. This allows for manually setting the aperture for the lens. Other, cheaper products won't necessarily allow the aperture to be changed.Sadly, this adapter has zero electronics. So for example it is unable to provide information about the lens or the aperture or the zoom level to the camera which would otherwise be embedded in the image files as exif data.Another thing to keep in mind is that unlike with an e-mount lens, when you start adjusting the focus you will not get the automatic zoom in to assist with the focus process. Instead, you'll need to configure one of the buttons on the camera to zoom in for you.The only adapter that allow for complete control of autofocus, and pass through of meta information for the exif data, are the expenses first party adapters by Sony. But of course you're looking at this adapter because it's 1/5 of the price.

May be the best $36 I've ever spent on camera gear
I recently upgraded my camera kit from my old A-mount Sony/Minolta gear to a Sony A7iii. Sony makes A-mount/E-mount adapters, but they cost hundreds of dollars, and most of them don't do autofocus with the A7iii.The K&F Concept adapter is only $36, almost two hundred dollars cheaper than the Sony LA-EA5, which doesn't do autofocus with my A7iii, either. I have to set aperture manually with a ring on the adapter, but for nearly $200, I can live with that. The two main lenses I wanted to use with my A7iii were my Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro lens and my Tamron 70-210mm f/2.8 tele zoom. Replacing them with equivalent E-mount lenses would have run between $2200 and $3100, depending on the replacement lenses I chose. I'll have to set aperture and focus manually, but the A7iiI has good focusing aids. I do mostly landscape/cityscape photography, so manual focus isn't a deal breaker, and even the best autofocus isn't reliable at macro distances. For $2200, I can live with that. The aperture ring is not marked, but there are eight very faint detents witch you can feel as you turn the ring. I generally shoot either at max aperture for limited depth of field, middle aperture, for best picture quality, and occasionally, stopped all the way down for maximum depth of field, so precise f stop numbers aren't a deal breaker. If you have an E-mount camera and some old A-mount glass, you really should give this adapter a look.

It works.
I do wish the aperture control was a little, better. It's smooth and very short. Not necessarily fault of the adapter but worth mentioning. It works, it's a good price, feels great and well machined.

Saved me from having to purchase all new lens
I recently got a new Sony Full Frame camera which is takes E mount lenes. Sadly I only have C mount lenes so until I can purchase full frame lenes this adapter works great. There is no connections so it's a fulll in manual focus mode but it works and the price was right.

Fits and has lighting control on the adapter
It works with my minolta/sony E mount lens on my sony A7R II camera body, love the added feature of lighting control options on the adapter. There is no image stabilization or auto focus options with this product.

Amazing quality
Compared with adapters that cost me 1/3 of the price, this is much higher quality, looks better, and rotates better. It has a slight smell of oil, though. Note that Amazon asks to grade 'auto focus' and 'image stabilization' - both are not applicable as this adapter has no electronic connectors.

Easy and comes with case
Fantastic and easy to use. Came quickly and with a nice little box, can be good to store lens and rear lens caps. No auto focus as it is just a "dumb" adapter not sure why that was a feature I got asked about. Didn't think it had it

Great adapter
Aperture ring feels clicky but smooth, and actuates the lever inside all the way. Every lens I have is capable of going wide open with this adapter. Much happier with this than a Fotodiox-branded one I bought before.
