CompTIA Server+ Certification All-in-One Exam Guide, Second Edition (Exam SK0-005)

I really liked this book, it explains almost everything you need for you server+ certification. Using this book + video course you should be ready to take your exam

The book is smaller than expected but it is condensed. I believe that a "study guide" must have a glossary and a good index. This book has both. I use both to make flash-cards of key words and such so that I don't miss anything. In the "olden days", books like this came with a CD. This book has online accessory material with links on how to access it once you register. And you can get a 10% discount when buying a test voucher.For anyone who says that certifications aren't worth it, I couldn't PAY someone to get an interview before I got my Network+ and now I can't get recruiters to stop calling me. I have not been unemployed for more than a week since taking the Network+ certification and making a whole lot more money. I want to take the Server+ because CompTIA will renew all their certs if you get another (instead of getting CEs). Why not?

This book was good for passing the exam. I used this one in conjunction with the Sybex book and both helped me to pass. They were all that was needed. The reason I deducted a star is because like others have said, there are errors in the exercises and I was not able to complete them all. Otherwise, the content was good. Everything is made simple to understand. This book also has online activity which includes practice exams and simulation practice. I definitely recommend those especially the simulation practice as one of them is very similar to an actual PBQ on the exam. Overall I was pleased with it and was able to pass my exam first try today.

I have now purchased a total of 4 of the CompTIA books and have really enjoyed them. They are informative, although I would say they get repetitive.Personally I am someone who wanted to get into IT with certifications and I have succeeded! After getting Server+ and Network+ certifications I cannot say I will continue to use these books, for as I mentioned their repetition.

This came in quick. There were zero defects on the hardcover, all of the codes inside worked, and it's been a highly valuable study tool. I've since handed it off to a coworker for them to study with and they're enjoying the content as well.

Read this book in 2 weeks and passed the test. Make sure to go all the way to the last page and sign up for the practice questions. Also use the discount code for the exam

Just passed the server+. Not many resources for the Server+ compared to many of the other CompTIA certs. This book was a huge asset for passing.

Decent reference for the comptia exam.I found some material to be a bit dated.Overall it was helpful in getting my certificate.

Great book, helped me pass the exam last month. And found out Dan the author is from Halifax, where I live. Kewl.
