Best stapler on the market
Usually I am not passionate about office products, but I LOVE this stapler lol. It is sturdy, but lightweight. You can store your staples in the bottom of it and it also has a staple remover. It is worth the extra money if you use a stapler daily, or you just want one that will be easy to use and not jam. Highly recommend!

A bit of a quality let down
I purchased this PaperPro compact stapler for my wife to use, as she has carpal tunnel syndrome and arthritis in both hands and wrists and finds using an 'ordinary' stapler very difficult. She is unable to use the 'one finger' operation on this stapler, which rather negates my reason for buying it.However, my marking is actually based on the product itself. It is plastic; oh, so full of plastic.Last year, I purchased the excellent PaperPro Prodigy stapler. That model is in a league of its own, even if it is expensive. I therefore assumed (quite wrongly, I now think) that we were going to expect the Prodigy's smaller brother to be of the same high calibre. How wrong I was.The stapler has a bit of flimsy rubber for the door to the 'secret hideaway' underside compartment for storing a spare strip of staples. That opener is bound to wear in time so that, sooner or later, it is going to break and come loose. The bodywork of the stapler (where the product name runs along the sides) is plastic and not the stronger metal you would expect to find on a stapler. The shape of the stapler is neither ergonomically nor aesthetically pleasing, so keeping it on display is not really an option, whereas locking it away in a drawer certainly is. The staple remover facility thing at the back of the machine is pointless, in my opinion; by the time I've farted about trying to get the piece of flat metal under a staple and levered it out of the paper it's holding together, I could have done it much quicker with my penknife or even the proper staple extractor I bought in a well-known high street stationers a few years ago.On the plus side, the stapler does work efficiently for non hand-disabled persons, but people with hand and/or wrist weaknesses may find it more difficult. So, that's one star. Amazon did really well by delivering this item ahead of the scheduled due date, so that's a second star. And there was one strip of staples included with the stapler, which I award another half a star, rounded up to one star. Which, overall, 3/5 stars is quite a good end result, all things considered. My overall advice to anyone contemplating buying this product would be to put the money towards the more expensively priced but excellent PaperPro Prodigy stapler, unless the one inch difference in desk space is an issue.
