Lifelong tea drinker of many types over the yrs. Rooibois has become my Daytime tea due to Green tea upsetting my stomach as I'm old now. It took me a while to understand what makes some Rooibois better than others without just paying for tea called "premium". Rooibois lacks any apparent formal standard of quality regluation or widely known characteristics to look for. After researching, and trying several other bulk Rooibois Teas I have found this one to be "quality" at a price only marginally higher than tea of inferior quality. I drink this everyday and consume about 8 lbs a yr.

I am new to this tea, and am very impressed with its flavor. I read about its benefits and figured if it tasted as good as it's benefits then it would be a win win purchase. It has always been an additional ingredient in a little tea bag. I didn't know what to expect I would be receiving in a bulk bag. The reviews said "like Coffee grounds". yep it is like coffee grounds or ground cork.People complained it was "clinging". Yes it clings like static cling to the bag it comes in and to your measuring spoon, and any surface. the only surface I found which it doesn't act like it is metal shavings attaching to a magnet is my Formica counter top. I spilled some when measuring. This to me is not a problem.You will need a strainer which is super fine. I have teapots with very fine stainless mesh. They did admirably keeping the debris out of the water.I received my tea 24 hours after I ordered it. it was in a foil lined paper bag which had a zip type closing. I transferred my tea to another container because I don't like dipping down into a bag, but the bag would be sufficient for storing the tea till you finish the bag. Yes I would buy this again and I would give it as a gift to my tea drinking friends.

A friend of mine from South Africa turned me on this tea when I was sick with a cold. Was it the tea who helped me get rid of that virus? I’ll never know but since then I’ve kept on drinking that tea. I’ve tried both the red and the green rooibos teas and they are both sweet and pleasing to my taste buds. And there’s no caffeine so it’s great before bed time.

Love this tea. Tough caffeine free, this organic tea still had strong flavor and aroma. We’ve reordered it and still prefer it to other red teas. I highly recommend.
