cheap and not sturdy
I bought this for my Son's bedsit flat, so it is small. However, The table is rather like a work desk and you can not fit any dishes on it except four plates. the benches are small and flimsy, rather like floating shelves. I won't recommend and I want to get rid of mine. Waste of my money.

Good, but takes a while to assemble
Not bad for the money that you pay for it. Quite difficult to put together and the instructions aren't clear, in that the pictures they provide are too small showing which screw or dowel you need to use. There were some holes missing for the benches, so hopefully they will not break.The instructions says 20 minutes to assemble, I think even for a seasoned assembler of furniture, this is a tall ask, it took me a couple of hours.It looks really nice however, and will be great for Christmas in my compact living room!

don’t bother
Looks good and cheap, but bench has broken within 2 months of using.

i changed my review!!
After about 2 months of use it all became loose! No about of tightening the screws made any difference. Then 2 weeks ago one of the benches just broke in half with my 8 year old on it! He went straight to the floor but thankfully was only shocked and didn't get to hurt. (previous review- Really good value. Easy to assemble and I did it quite quickly. The corners are quite shape though so watch little ones but other than that it's been great little dining set.)

Perfect Dining Experience (Christmas 2019)
Incredibly great value dining table and bench set. It's sturdy and modern design.As with all self essembly, it's not without a challenge, it's not absolutely perfect, but experienced persons will complete the job to their satisfaction and perfection.Do not be scared about it being too small or kiddy size. It was fine for me 5'4" and my teenagers. And it looks very elegant. :)

DO NOT BUY!!!
We purchased this just before Christmas and within using it 3 times both benches have snapped with my 6 and 7 year old using them! The first bench snapped in 2 places and the second bench the leg snapped off! Thank god it wasn't my gran or grandad sitting on them as they would have been seriously hurt, please do not buy this item it's not safe and im suprised its still on sale, after reading reviews this isnt the first time this has happened!
