I purchased black and it works well. Easy to use and water works fine to apply. One user gave good instructions and that made it easy. It looks nice to for added privacy in my basement. The corners are a little challenging to pull apart the plastic backing. I just bent a corner back and forth until I could get my fingernail in between them to pull it off.

I needed something to keep the light coming in but still have privacy on a ADU front door. This did the trick. It was very easy to apply and looks great. The hardest thing was pulling the back sheet off the film. So I used strong tape on the smooth side and that did the trick.

This was so easy to use and worked great. I bought it because I had a clear glass door for an outdoor fridge. The sun was shining in to it and was making it overheat. This totally solved the problem and looks professional!

Beautiful! Purchased for my classroom as well as in my home. Great for stylish privacy. Would have given 5 starts, but install was difficult. Didn't cling. Ended up taping it using clear tape. Still, looks fantastic!

Item delivered quickly. Easy installation and thick, good tint. Added to my sunroom window, it works great and still lets light in. I will be ordering more for my other windows

Easy to install, lets in nice natural light, and has GREAT privacy. In this picture (courtesy of our doordash driver) we are actively putting the film up. I am standing right behind the door in a red shirt and we have the inside light on, and you CAN NOT see me!

As other reviews state, this film is pretty sheer.I live in a basement apartment. My windows are part of the walkway people use to get to their apartment. There is a concrete wall facing my apartment as well. There are also no ceiling lights in any of the bedrooms. So, there is no privacy if I open my blinds to let in light, and it can be very, very dark during the day.I wanted something that would allow me to feel comfortable leaving my windows open during the day but wouldn't block the much-needed sunlight.I knew this was on the sheer side, but that works great for my needs.The film is forgiving and easy to apply. I had to adjust it a few times, and it didn't compromise the film's ability to adhere to my windows, which is a major plus.I've used other window films, and this one is definitely the easiest to apply.It is easiest to apply window film with a spray bottle and those little squeegee tools, but I just applied this film by getting my window wet, lining the film up, and using a credit card to smooth it out. If you get only one tool when you apply this film, I recommend getting an exacto knife.I only got enough for my bedroom window to test it out and see if I wanted to get more. I'll be getting more for the rest of my windows.I've checked my windows from the outside to see how much privacy I'm getting. It blurs/distorts the room slightly. Just enough to work, clean, or be in my room without feeling exposed. That said, I probably wouldn't dress with my windows open. These definitely don't offer enough privacy for that.If privacy isn't your concern, this film is also a fun decor item. I love getting more light in my bedroom and the fun rainbows the film casts all over my room.I've had this film for a few months, and it's held up great. I've seen no peeling or any other issues.

I rarely leave reviews, but this one deserves a warning to others. This film is paper thin – so flimsy that applying it without wrinkles or bubbles is nearly impossible. And even if you somehow manage to get it flat, it barely sticks. It's supposed to be static cling, but it just doesn’t grip the glass properly, even after cleaning and prepping the surface exactly as instructed.Worst of all, it does not block light. Not even close. The edges glow like there’s a neon sign behind them, completely defeating the purpose of blackout coverage. If you're buying this for darkness (like I did, for day sleeping), forget it. You’d get better results taping up trash bags.Cheap materials, poor adhesion, and completely misleading marketing. Returning and replacing with something that actually works.Avoid.
