IT WORKS.
Just buy it and save your money and don’t spend the $300 on a motor craft one.My issue was window was stuck in open positionI had to take alligator clamps from the battery to the 2 prongs on the motor of my existing one to get the window in the tilt position …. The board was fried on the existing “damaged” oneAfter that took the existing motor off. Put this new one on and did the sequence of-open driver door-start car-turn car off within 2-3 seconds of starting-start car again-press and let off “tilt”-press and hold tilt indefinitely until the window goes through the whole open close process then you’re good. There should be a instruction on how to program thisWatch videos on you tube… “figure it Out”

NO TILT!!
I should have read the reviews before I purchased. Spent hours trying to program and would never program to work the tilt. Even the sliding glass after I would program it, after a while, it would lose that program! Try two motors, and they both reacted the same way when trying to program them. Some people report a fix of switching the working sun curtain motor and the replacement glass motor, but that’s not what I paid for. Even the description in the listing shows that it will tilt, and it will not, repeat, it will not program for tilt !!! after two motors, and two returns , gave up on these motors! Don’t waste your money if, like myself, the tilt function is what you use the most

Works for open/close feature
Bought a used Ford Explorer, sunroof didn’t work (Note: shade portion did). Read the reviews, rolled the dice, and well, ran into same issue -Tilt didn’t work. Which I am 100% fine with, because i feel like that feature was made for smokers or passing gas. It opens and closes no problem. Job took about 45-60 min. from start to finish. Beats paying $300 for OEM. You got this.

It opens and closes but doesn’t tilt.
Well the cheap replacement motor runs; however, using the original ford controller it doesn’t tilt and function like the OEM motor. Pressing the tilt just operates like the slide button. It at least it opens and closes. I will buy the Ford motor soon. Lesson learned on going cheap.

Seems to do the job
Put this in a 2017 Explorer after the sunroof drained plugged up and the original motor stopped working. Bolted right in and so far it's working as good as new.

Tilt and auto slide "fix"
I've read all reviews and was aware of the limited functionality of this motor. I decided to swap the OEM shade motor with the broken glass motor and installed this aftermarket one in place of the OEM shade motor, everything works great, I was able to program the glass motor no problem, shade motor works no issues it stops in the middle as intended as well auto slide works. Hope that helps.
