Too small.....
I am a size uk 16 and ordered a 12-16........I don’t think it would fit a 12 without great discomfort. I couldn’t even get it over my thighs. I’ve put it in my cupboard in the hope it may fit if I can lose enough weight......Order at least two sizes bigger than you think you need.

It fit fine. I just wish the wait band had something sticky to make it easier to stay in place without rolling down.
