Powerful Wireless Access Point!
Powerful Wireless Access Point. This thing is pretty amazing. Full bars at 250+ feet (line of site). Can allow up to 8 separate SSID's for 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz plus a guest network! And it's FAST! Completely configurable. Allows for band steering, which automatically pushes higher bandwidth traffic (such as video) to the uncrowded 5Ghz band. Was really impressed with what this thing can do. Only thing I was bummed about was I didn't realize there is no DHCP server...it's just and access point.

Dont bother waisting your time
We have installed several of these Engenius 1750 Access Points and plain and simple they are horrible. They are listed as a long range AP, however, they are not. Even with clean line of site, you wont get 500 yards. Furthermore, when there are more than 10 users on 1 SSID, the units crash. Users get failure to connect or invalid password errors and it is very frustrating. We tried everything. Engenius shut down their technical support line due to their products being horrible, so once you discover how bad they are you cant even call anybody for assistance anymore. We have switched to Ubiquiti Unif access points and have had zero issues. They automatically mesh and automatically survey airspace and adjust according to surrounding traffic. Engenius does none of that. Save your time and buy Ubiquiti!

Two units with same weak spot in the EnGenuis ENH1750EXT
First unit worked good for four years. Got funny in fifth and died. Apparenty the radio receive broadcast part of it.Second unit worked OK for three days and died. This time it seems to be the interface between the radio part and the part that connunicates with the internet.I hired the guy who is our charter school IT guy and handles 53 access points with a total of a thousand computers using that system to make use I didn't screw anything up with either unit. He seems to understand it all, but it's hard for me to break it all down with the information available to me from EnGenius.Emailed EnGenuis Tech Support got one responce only. However it could be they got shutdown with this Covid-19 thing and forgot to tell anyone they were hanging it up.Got a third unit coming to replace the second. Hoping they figured it out and got the Achellies Heel fixed.

The Access Point has great range. Crucial to update the firmware as soon as you buy it.
The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the antennas were loose even if tightened with a rench. Soon I realized that the antena holders were loose from inside. This AP kept crashing on me on the original firmware, clients were constantly loosing wifi connection and some of the management features weren't functioning properly. After I updated to the latest version it fixed multiple of my complaints and so far it has been working fine last 9 months.
