Q: The directions say something about a fray protector. i don't think i got them. what are they? and is it even worth fretting about?

The fray protectors are clear plastic and about 20" long. They attach to the outside of the two outer-most panels. I almost missed them when I received my blinds. They would only be important if you are often using your hands to move the panels - rather than using the rods.

Q: Can you see through these at night from the outside looking in?

Hi there, For Ivory Dawn, it is a light-filtering series which you can still look in from the outside. We have a blackout series that can block out 99% of the light. Q: What is the depth of the rail including the wall brackets?

Hi there, Thanks for your inquiry about the GoDear Design Deluxe Adjustable Sliding Panel Track Blind. The depth of the mounting bracket is 2.25", please make sure the mounting surface is flat with a minimum 2.5" of bracket height. Q: Can you adjust the width of the panels? I need 12" wide panels.

Hi there, We do not suggest customers to trim the width of panels. Because each sliding rail is 23", the same width with each panel. You will have to apply the panels on the sliding rails. Best, The GoDear Design Team
