I haven't seen one of these in years. Even 74 year old mechanic didn't know they existed. Let's remove the lighter with out destroying it.

Look for another fuse box.
Product is fine, tool works good. Didn't notice any tool wear after one use.After installation the 12v outlet still didn't work. With further investigation I found another fuse box on the passenger side of my dashboard and located a burnt fuse... Face palm... Fixed.The quality looks the same as my OEM part though so have no fear about that.Recommended. I'd buy it again.

Mostly worked
The T tool did not release the power port, finally reverted to brut force. Seems the power port was welded to the dash grommet so the tool might have worked on different dash, guess when over 20 years old things like this can happen.
