Elkay EZH2O Bottle Filling Station with Single ADA Cooler, Filtered 8 GPH Light Gray

Just installed the Elkay water bottle filling station and water fountain. I now feel like I’m running a high-end resort in my house. The water? Crisper than a freshly picked apple. The speed? Faster than my dog spotting a squirrel. Filling my bottle feels like an event now; I half expect to hear fanfare every time. Side note: the fountain function is so good, I now take Bucked Up pre workout more than ever now just to see this beauty work! Stay hydrated, folks, and let Elkay lead the way!

This was a direct replacement for an old Elkay unit. It operates well, but the install process left something to be desired.Happily, it hangs on the old wall bracket.Our electric outlet was next to the fountain, not behind it, but there's no way to get the cord out. I had to buy a stepped bit and cut a hole in the bottom. There should be a grommetted hole and a longer cord.Their water hookup point is a plain 3/8 copper pipe end. I don't know what they had in mind for connecting to my stop valve, but I bought braided dishwasher supply line and 3/8 compression coupling which seems to work. They should provide a connector for a braided supply line.In general, the interior is a crowded mess, and everything is impinging on everything else. The filter cartridge blocks access to the stop valve.It's possible to screw filter cartridge on 180 degrees off, so instead of fixing the design, they put a big warning sticker on it lol. The directions are... barely adequate. The chrome drain grill is raised on one side but doesn't seem to leak.This took too much time and too many trips to the store.That said, the completed unit is a pleasure to use.
