I use this for the lick-able treats for my kitten and it's simply perfect!

Not Square
The plate itself is great. HOWEVER, it’s not square, which would’ve been better for what I needed. Doesn’t quite fit. It’s more rectangular than the picture suggests.

Kinda small for my Kitty
I love this saucer, but didn't realize how small it was. Put wet food in it and my cat had wet food all over the sides of it and over the sides.

Perfect dish
This has turned out to be my cats favorite dish; I've bought several. It holds the right amount of food (anywhere from 3-6 oz of food). I tend to feed my cat twice a day (3 oz) and it's perfect. He doesn't like the bowls that are too deep.
