Q: Can this be used on human Hair?

The Mane 'n Tail Detangler for personal use is different from the Equine version. It is a lighter formula and the spray is finer (better suited for human hair) You certainly can use the Equine Detangler formula on your own hair and we do have some folks who prefer to use that formula. So it comes down to a matter of personal choice.

Yes it will, you will need to squeeze the cap and twist at the same time.

Nope. You've got the right thing. This is for human hair. It was originally designed to be used on horses, but it became popular with people cause it works so well.

Q: Is it safe for color treated hair?

I think so, but if you use it for humans, rub a VERY small amount between your hands and wipe onto hair. Buy the smallest amount container. 16 0z will last a horse awhile but it will last a human a lifetime! If you use too much, you will have a very greasy shine. Remember if it for horses mane and tails which are very dry and coarse compared to human hair.
