When I got I charged the device as said in the manual. But it did not start on batteries so I put it in the ac charge it started. I contacted the company and they said it was a problem with the battery. After that I opened the device and found that the one of the battery wires was loose I fixed it and it worked ok. But I found when I opened the devise that there is a broken part inside. Which means the device was repaired and was not new when I ordered it.

Ordered this DVD player for my son for the car, it stopped working after 1 month however was able to contact the manufacturer and they sent a replacement item right away free of charge, working great. The volume isn’t super loud but for the car it definitely gets the job done. Velcro’s perfectly to the back of the seat so very convenient. Happy with my purchase.

I've had this player for about one year now, and it has been great. The design is sleek and stylish and makes it easy to transport. The battery charges fully in two hours and provides about 4 hours of reliable play time. The player has a widescreen video panel, but it also gives you the option to view content correctly in standard format in case you're watching an older movie or TV show. The picture and audio quality is excellent and can be enhanced further by the numerous menu settings that provide control over video/audio, including contrast, color saturation, brightness, etc., and stereo output. In addition to playing DVDs, this player also has USB and memory card ports. There are two earphone jacks, so the kids can watch a movie or TV show together. All in all, this is a great portable option for people who love movies and TV shows and don't want to deal with poor streaming quality and annoying advertising. I highly recommend!

The head case that you put the DVD player in is very cheap product. After about a week, it has been bent and stretched. The DVD player is to heavy in my opinion for that case.The DVD players volume won't go any higher the 20, and in a car where there are kids, you can barely hear it.

I purchased this DVD player a little over a year ago for a long car trip, but my kid uses it a lot throughout the year at home. I love that there is a car adapter and an AC adapter for that reason. It works well, although once in a while the playback briefly pauses or freezes a bit. It's usually very momentary and doesn't happen too often. The player seems to handle bumps and jostling just fine. The way the screen rotates is extremely handy.But the reason that I highly, highly recommend purchasing this player? I am so impressed with the customer service. The AC adapter broke recently. I am 99.99% sure that my kid is to blame since she is not particularly careful with any electronics. What I am saying is that it was not poor design, workmanship, etc. I contacted the manufacturer to see if I could purchase a replacement. I got a quick response and they offered to send a replacement, for free, no questions asked. Wow.
