A little more oily than I expected

I think it's fair to say that while no one would label these products as "luxe," they do have a purpose. In fact, they seem nicely suited to men who otherwise would not invest in self-care products.Beginning with the lip balm, if you are used to the silkiness of something like Burts Bees, this is a little more on the slightly harder, a little more gritty side. Nonetheless, it holds up well in heat. So, in many ways, this really is great for those who hike or commit to intense outdoor activities. It has a little seal around the top so that you know it arrives to you in pristine condition.The cardboard tube of "lotion" is interesting. I think it could be nice for quick swipes across dry knees and elbows. The scent is a little "natural" but this too has a nice seal around the top. Very good!The navy blue tube of lotion is good because it arrives with a little seal under cap (which give you confidence in the safety of the product). It does its job in that it soothes and moisturizes. There are no floral or big scents that could prohibit a man from using it.The jar of "creme lite" is good because it has a nice seal under the cap and is great for feet and hands. Very moisturizing and comforting (especially at the end of a long workout/day).The "Ridiculous!' paste is nice if you have had a rough workout and want a little comfort and soothing. Again, very much masculine in tone, but that's great since men need "things" too! (There is a seal under this cap as well. Super nice!)This is a nice gift for the man in your life. Recommended!

I went from seriously hating all 5 of these products to LOVING all 5 after I really gave them a chance.They all have a bomb dot com fragrance....the scent is divine and heavenly and something everyone will love.What I didn't like about the products to start with is how greasy they ALL looked and felt. After I tested each one I threw them in my nope pile and went about my day. It wasn't until maybe an hour later I realized the areas that I had layered on these products looked and felt as smooth as velvet, and im not exaggerating. The greasiness was gone. And in its place was the smoothest skin I never expected!The lip tube has a slightly minty taste and smell. If I had to do with 1 product in thjs set to be without, it would be this. Its not my favorite lip balm and its kinda thick and heavy, but it'll do. I just dont love it.The all purpose creme is my favorite, and the most greasy when you first apply it....but will magically transform your skin into velvety buttery smoothness. The oils separated when I first squeezed some out, so be sure and give it a good shake each time you plan to open it to mix everything back up. If I had to choose 1 product in this set to order on its own, it would be this.The ridiculous paste smells the best. And feels really good going on.The lite cream looks curdled. I used it anyhow because I wasn't sure if it actually was curdled or if it was supposed to be that way- plus is still smelled AMAZING. It rubs in evenly and well, even though it looks curdled and weird. I'm gonna keep using it because I like it.The all purpose mini lotion tube is great, though unnecessary in my opinion when you have all the other lotions and balms. Its more convenient for on the go I guess. But I could have done without it and a cheaper price due to its absence in the bundle.

My favorites out of this kit are the ridiculous paste and the all purpose creme. I’ve been starting to walk long distances again now that it’s getting warmer where I live and since it’s been a while I’m starting to get blisters and callouses again. After my walk I use the ridiculous paste on my feet and put them in some aloe socks. Then after my shower I use the all purpose creme on my legs and feet. They leave your legs smooth and soothing after using them. The smell is very natural and doesn’t smell artificial or fake.The only major downfall is that the sizes you get are really small - almost travel sizes and the price is $49 which is almost $10 an item and I think that’s pretty steep for what you get

The lip balm and the mini tube are very easy to use. The All Purpose Creme is also very easy to apply. Two two other products are difficult. You will need a spatula to try to get it out. Other than that, it works well. I have used three of the products already, and tried to use the other two, it just wasn't easy. It smells good

Not only does it moisturize well without leaving my hands greasy, it also helps to heal some of the scraps and cuts that come along with rock climbing. It's also much easier to use than a bottled lotion. Don't get me wrong - I still love using bottled lotions, but they are not as convenient to carry in your purse or bag. Plus, these lotion bars will probably last a lot longer than liquid lotion. The scent is really strong though, but it has a very "earthy" smell to it. If you're used to how natural scents smell, then you'll be fine with the scent.
