Perfect temperature all the time.
I'm using this to feed my shower. My shower doesn't have the standard on off valve. It has automated valves that turn on the water to individual outlets. I have them attached to a 24 volt transformer for each outlet and a smart switch that turns the power off and on. All of this is controlled by smartthings hub and alexa. Its all working great so far!

Made well !
Used to run a mix of hot and cold to toilets to prevent sweating in summer. No water restriction. Works great !

This thing works but it isn't a silver bullet
If your water quality isn't great, longevity will suffer. This was used with acidic well water and a prefilter is critical. Sediment will jam the valves and interfere with the tempering. Over time, our water ate through the valve body and it leaked but it took a very long time. The most appreciated feature of this product is that it hasn't changed over the years meaning I can just unscrew the old one and the new one fits perfectly in place. The least favorite part is that I couldn't find replacement screens which my acidic water eats through. The weak point for acidic water is definitely the washer/screen part.

Failed in less than 2 years
In approximately 1-1/2 years the temperature can no longer be controlled. I turn the control knob all the way closed (cool) and I get 130 degrees and I turn it open (warmer) four turns and I get 140 degrees which is where my water heater is set. A measly one year warranty means I have to buy another one. They make a repair kit that costs about as much as a new valve.
