Beautiful, easy to push pram in a classic style
Updated Review: The baby is now nearly 6 months old and I still love this gorgeous pram. This thing is built like a tank. Let me just start off by saying that it saved my baby from a potentially serious accident in the underground, as a fully grown and very intoxicated man ploughed into us both. He was sent flying over the bassinet and the only damage received by both baby and pram was a bit of shock and the bonnet had been pulled back.I took it everywhere this summer with tiny newborn snuggled into a SnuggleNest, which happened to be the perfect size for the bassinet. Ploughing through rush hour foot traffic with a pram might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I had no problems riding the subways daily with this thing. On the rarer occasion that an elevator was broken at one of the stops (you quickly learn which stops are wheelchair and stroller accessible), someone was always willing to help me carry the pram (with baby inside) up or down the stairs. I feel like I should mention that I also live in a second-floor walk-up with two additional small staircases. I was/am able to carry the pram with bassinet in two piece, or bump it up in one piece, by myself once I had set the baby down in a safe place. Now that she is in the seat, I just carry her up in the seat and then return for the chassis. I do realise that this is a bit more trouble than most people would like to go through to get their pram or stroller inside, but it is worth it to me to do a bit more work for the payoff of having such a beautiful pram.My first choice had been an Emmaljunga Nitro or City Cross, which aren't sold in the states. I'm so glad we found the Roan Kortina as an alternative. It's very well-constructed and sturdy, fantastic for outings in the park, easy enough to manoeuvre through city traffic once you get the hang of the fixed wheels, and is the only stroller I would consider bringing with us to the beach. I did eventually manage to find a used Emmaljunga Scooter 4S, which is also such an amazing stroller, but the Roan holds its own. I switch off between the two and use the Roan whenever we're planning to be out for a long day, as its easily the most spacious, has the best recline, and has the best storage.Plus points:Sturdy and well-builtStylish - a definite attention-grabberGreat for all-terrainSmooth ride because of suspension system, which I have found to be incredibly useful on cracked city sidewalksEasy to push, especially one-handed (huge!)Great recline on stroller seatComfortable for babyAdjustable handlebar means both myself (5') and partner (6'4") can push the stroller without issueSome caveats:Because of the bulk with the pram + bassinet, it does not fit in smaller car trunks without first removing the wheels, which is not difficult but is a bit annoying when you'd rather just fold it and go.The breaks are fiddly and sometimes difficult to lock in just right. I have learned to double check instinctively, but this is annoying and hazardous. The bassinet lining is not machine washable. I spilled coffee on it and had to hand wash it, which is fine, but I do prefer that with my Emmaljunga I can just unzip the seat cover and throw it in the washing machine.Needs some kind of storage option for rain covers + etc. I like to switch out diaper bags, so it's not sensible to keep them in there or they'll be forgotten. The Emmaljunga has a great spacious zippered pocket in the bonnet that holds the rain cover, my wallet, my phone, sanitizer and baby toys and takes up almost no extra space.Anyway, I love this pram and am glad we found it!

ROAN KORTINA ROCKS!
ROAN KORTINA 2-IN-1DESCRIPTION - COUPLE OF WORDS THAT DESCRIBE THIS BEAUTY ARE:- SEXY, PRACTICAL, STRONG, LIFE LASTING, NOTHING LIKE THIS AT THIS PRICE ON CADANIAN MARKET...PERIODAgree with reviewers below - it is waaaaaaaaaaaay better in real life than on the picture.Assemble process: took us 5 min - plastic white stoppers off, screw the wheels on, with the push of the buttons on the side of the stroller handle entire stroller lifts up, bassinet on, lock it.....BAM!!! You are done like dinner ! No instruction required, but it comes with it.Material used for this product will last for a very long time. One year warranty.Stroller comes with chassis (rubber ones, no plastic here, for baby everything should be high quality), bassinet and seat unit. Will use the bassinet when baby is small (till about 7-9) months; and when baby will start trying to sit , we will install the seat unit. I thought to keep a baby in the bassinet longer, but I was told to be very careful as baby can roll over from the bassinet. The following accessories included: mattress for the bassinet, side protector for bassinet, cover for bassinet, hood (the hood you will use for both -bassinet and seat), cover for seat unit, diaper bag, rain cover (useful during the winter to protect bassinet from snow and wind) and mosquito net.Delivery time: if your item in stock...you'll get it within week or even less. In my case from USA to Toronto, Canada - 4 business days JAnd ..I ordered matching baby sleeping bag, as we are expecting baby by the end of December. And last....CUSTOMER SERVICE....loved dealing with Dasalika - Amazon Marketplace.Oleg A. was great and very supportive, helpful & knowledgeable. I was getting replies to my e-mails in a blink of an eye.Thank you again for everything and good luck with your great service & business!

Solid Construction
We received this pram as a gift from my mother in law. She is French so she is more used to the pram style stroller. This review is strictly in regards to the construction of the stroller. Our baby is not born yet so I cannot comment on how it stows away and how practical it is on a daily basis. Most of the other strollers have plastic wheels and those are the areas that tend to give out pretty quickly. The air tires on the Roan Kortina are MASSIVE and look like they could fit a scooter. The chassis is very solid and there is a bouncy feel to it so you can rock the baby while it is in the pram. I agree that there is no angle on the pram so if the baby is being fussy, I don't think it would be comfortable lying down. In addition, the mattress that comes with the bassinet is very thin, so I think you may have to put several layers on blankets to keep the baby comfortable. The main thing I did not like about the stroller is the fact that you cannot turn the stroller without lifting one end of it. That is a huge minus for me, especially since the stroller is so big.One side note, the instructions were useless and written in basically gibberish. It took me a while to figure everything out.

Love this!
Good quality product, it's been well used from birth. I've read other reviews where people are complaining about it not having wheels that turn, but all you need to do is push down a tiny bit and pivot the pram whichever direction you want it to go. Not difficult at all.....I purchased one for my home and another for my parents (live in another province) It can go on snow, sand, grass....I swear it's like an atv! Would recommend!
