5/16" fuel inlet
I needed a replacement fuel pump for a 1967 Mustang 289 2BBL. None of my usual local parts suppliers had the right item. This pump has the 5/16" hose inlet required. The only downside is that the upper casting prevents using a 9/16" socket (even with flex joint) to install the pump. I had to buy a 9/16" stubby combination wrench and even with that was barely able to tighten the rear mounting bolt due to limited space between the pump casting and engine block.
