On opening the box my first impression was this unit is big and heavy (not unexpected though as I had read previous reviews prior to purchase) however I have to say this machine does feel much sturdier than my previous models (one of which was a Tefal which lasted 5 weeks with very little use before ceasing to work!)The height of the unit is as I expected having checked the dimensions, a bit taller than my previous models however this is not a problem to me. Although heavier I like the fact that the jug is made of glass rather than plastic, it feels good and solid glass but as there is no user manual regarding the operation included in with the unit, nor can I find one online, but the only query I had was to whether this could be used for hot liquids, the answer was found in small print on the unit base! it can take hot liquids to a temperature of 60 degreesI like the fact that the jug sits securely into the base unit without the need to rotate it, and that the suction feet hold the whole thing very securely during the operation. I also like the easy way the blades are removed for cleaning and the fact that there is a thermal cut out to protect the motor.This is still a very new purchase but my first overall impression is it is a good purchase, only time will tell if this decision remains constant.I have tested the ice crushing function, this appears to work well, I have also tested it with blending down a couple of dry ingredients, granulated sugar to caster sugar and oats into oat flour, both results were more than satisfactory.I purchased this on the strength of having read previous reviews but also because it comes with a 36 month warranty which will hopefully hold firm should the need to use it arise. I've not yet tried emailing the support team to establish their efficiency or speed in replying, again only time will tell.On balance and from an early impression I would happily recommend this product to others.

This is a great blender for the price (I got it with a discount voucher).I first bought to make a vegan NYC cheesecake and my family were not disappointed!I really like how you can take the blades off from the bottom, it makes for easy cleaning!What I don't particularly like it that it doesn't lock when it's put on the base unlike some blenders that one twists to lock it in place.I like the removable cap at the top where one can add things as one blends however, it should come with one of those 'tubes' that can be inserted from the top to help stuff move around the blender, they are becoming more widespread and are terribly useful!

I have not had it long, so too early to give a long term review. I have had several cheaper blenders (also still for sale here on Amazon) that all turned out be noisy, flimsy, lacking power, etc. Not so with this one. What I like about this blender is.1) Variable speed control (very useful)2) Quiet motor3) Good quality suckers, so doesn't move about4) Powerful action5) Glass jug, not plastic. The jug is big and thick, making the overall machine very heavy (could have been a bit thinner, but is testimony to the solid build quality of this machine)6) Very sharp serrated blades7) Stylish appearance8) Lid with a good rubber seal is lockable to prevent any spillsHence 5 stars

This is a good quality, solid and powerful blender. I love the pulser, the variable speed, and the 'programmed' blending. Using it is straightforward and it certainly does the job.However, I am still trying to get used to the really heavy jug - lifting from cupboard, washing and drying. ( I do not use the dishwasher ) My previous blender was much lighter and easier to handle

This is a very well made blender. It’s powerful and easy to use and intelligently designed so you can drop the blades out of the jug in order to clean it thoroughly.But the jug weighs a proverbial ton. The glass is very thick, which is really good for crushing ice, but it’s apparently built to withstand a nuclear detonation … inside the jug! My wife can just lift it with one hand it it’s empty but if it’s full she needs two hands, and of course pouring from it is therefore difficult.I recommend this blender, it really is good, but you may need to pump some iron before you can wield it easily.

Have tried three other machines (all of which failed) for the purchase of making daily smoothies and whey shakes with frozen fruit, I tried this uuouu on the back of its other Amazon reviews.It’s by far the best I’ve tried. Solid in feel, powerful in operation and very easy to clean effectively, it has the feel of the older, buikt to last blenders you used to get, rather than most of the ones available now which burn out in the blink of an eye.Great for crushing ice and frozen fruit. I love it and highly recommend it.

Blender is very good and has a strong titanium blade . The jug is also very strong glass and there are various speed settings . It looks very modern in design with its stainless steel base .it is very easy to clean and hassle free to take apart for washing . It looks really classy and the jug holds a great volume too . I am very pleased with it . It is guaranteed too which is excellent . WellWorth the money .
