These glasses are available in a wider variety of strengths than many types of cheap reading spectacles, so I could obtain exactly what my optician prescribed but at a very low cost. Unlike the specs they're replacing, they're strongly made and they stay securely on my face when I bend over - important if you do craftwork as is the large size of the lenses, which gives greater eye protection. I'd be very pleased with these specs at this price if it was only one pair - but you get four of them!

Put those Gucci reading glasses at £150 to the back of your mind.Do they fit and are they comfortable : Yes no problems there.How strong are they : I class these as "average to above average" ... If you sit on them they will break (they are plastic after all) but in normal use they are fine. They are not as strong as a £20 pair I bought from Boots but are stronger than the many £6 pairs I have bought from Wilko. They also will sit happily pushed back on top of your head (well mine anyway).How good is are the lenses : Based on what I received I class these are "above average" .Are the lenses accurate : For my prescription (+2) yes.Are they value for money : Yes perfect for everyday use and having the slip cases is a nice touch too.Would you buy again : Yes at this price point. If you like the shape and colours then they are well worth the price.Hope this helps anyone like me who needed to buy a pair (or 4) quickly, having crunched my last remaining pair, and couldn't get to the shops.So all in all a very satisfactory purchase at the price point.

Losing glasses can be a problem for me. If all you need are basic reading glasses then these are excellent. I like the design and the comfort is great, though both of these are down to personal preference. I have found the optical quality to be good and so far no problems with scratches or broken arms. Also, four glasses means means I should never be short of a pair when I need them.

Highly recommend these reading glasses. What a difference to what you can see when reading. I have purchased other glasses online and found them to be weird on my eyes and of poor quality. Theses glasses are well made and comfortable to wear so much so I bought another set so I can have them in different places. Highly recommend, they won’t disappoint.

At last I can see in the living room, another pair in the kitchen - 4 pairs that seem very comfortable and fairly robust. Good that they all have a soft case, but what is the single giant cleaning cloth about?! Very good value for money and even if I break one, I've still got three more as backups.

Good value. They seem fairly sturdy. My husband is always losing or breaking his glasses so these should last him a while.Only lost a star because didn't arrive on time.
