Great little kit. A must have if you test metals for jewelry. My only regret was not buying the box to put them in, Although you can purchase separate. Stone does a great job for small spot jobs. You may want a larger one if you do a lot of testing. Alll in all very happy.

I have tested/ used every item in this kit, including all tested liquids. Tested against verified precious metals- every bottle works exactly as described. Scale is accurate. The loop is a bit small, but works well and the lens is perfectly clear. The stone is a bit odd, but it is a nice size, with a great rubber membrane on the bottom- sticks well to most any surface. 10/10 would recommend this set.

I’m just getting started on sorting through jewelry and whatnot,I don’t have much experience with stones or determining some alloys. Having this kit was a great way for me to have more confidence in my purchases. It’s affordable and the kit is a great starter for us novices. I look forward to the weeks ahead, estate sales and bulk jewelry sales!
